Before choosing Imassage I did some homework: what were the reviews, what were the credentials and…read moreexperience of the therapists, what services did they provide, what were their prices for the services, what were their hours of service, where were they located, how easy was it to find parking, ease in booking appointments ( you can do so by calling or online easily and quickly) and most importantly how did they treat a potential customer who had inquiries over the phone. Although I was disappointed in some of my findings from other massage locations, Imassage did not disappoint. I chose to have a chair massage as I have had that service done in the past at another location in a different city to help me compare experiences. Also, it is not always comfortable for me to lay on a traditional massage table. As a first time client I arrived 15 minutes early knowing that there would probably be new client paperwork for me to complete when I got there. The reception and waiting area was clean ( as well as the two massage rooms I visited and the parking area) lit well enough to read or do paperwork yet not so bright that it was not a relaxing atmosphere. The decor was spa like. The rooms were lightly dimmed, soft instrumental music in the background as well as a gentle pleasant scent in the rooms and reception area. Having a location that had natural daylight in the reception area and parking available at the door were pluses for me especially on a rainy day. By the time I had completed my paperwork it was time for my massage. I had Becky, one of the owner/partners who was very interested in what my preferences were and physical needs. She is very experienced and knowledgeable and asked all the right questions in order to give me the best experience possible. She worked out the tension, kinks and knots that I was aware of but also those that I was not and was able to increase my range of motion and improve my posture. She even demonstrated other possibilities for future massages that would benefit me and my husband's conditions that would provide the best benefits for us to be able to have full massages in the future if we chose. From the time that I walked through the door until the time that I left with a complementary bottle of water to rehydrate my muscles it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Imassage and any of it's therapists ( from the information I learned from Becky) to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, healing, positive experience.
