I was impressed by the organization of the schedule and components, running on time, clear directions and signs. I made friends at the conferences, both investors and founders, and very happy I attended. Compared to other conferences, this was a very high level of serious attendees, a high ratio of investors easily spotted by their badges, lots of good food, a good focus on actionable content for the panels with big investors speaking. Very helpful - they had an app where I messaged other attendees and scheduled one on one meetings. The connections I made here are invaluable, the value is much greater than the cost. Companies that pitch here are smart and realize that they can connect with multiple investors in one day, increasing their chance of getting funding, better than spending time on trying to get inside the door to meet investors, one at a time, or pay huge sums to use investment bankers. Here there is no middleman, you connect directly with the investors. She gave no reason for not getting it done. Next, we had sold a family home and the gain from the sale was put in the wrong state. It should've been NY and she put it in New Jersey. Which screwed up both state returns. She also never took the credit for the solar panels she put on her house or a deducted for long term health care she pays. Previous to this return she had also made a mistake and my sister waited quite a long time to get her refund back. My best advise to anyone considering this tax service is to find someone else.

Turns out they had $50 in the account, so they kept it open. Tried to close my account again by calling them directly, multiple times over the last couple of months. I asked to please close my account and just send me a check. They took my address. I never received it. They made me feel like a cheap ass because I called and said I never received a check. But at this point I wish they would just close the account. There's only one of two things going on here: Either they are incompetent or they just don't care. I stand corrected, it could be both.
