Breezeway antiques & gifts - Well laud out

The Breezeway Boutique in The Dalles Oregon is the best…read more. Very clean smells good. Fun place to shop

Fabulous thrift shops in the hear of The Dalles! Thoughtfully curated, beautifully styled, the…read more"boutique" in the title is an accurate description. The boutique is quite large and everything is well organized in small sections with plenty of room to walk down the main aisle and around each area. The minute I walked in my eye caught a burnt orange scarf a mannequin was wearing. Immediately I took the scarf off the mannequin knowing it was actually a lace tablecloth, perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving. For $15, I didn't even have to think about it! So many wonderful items, something for anyone's style and budget. Old leather objects and jackets; vintage phone from the 30s; tea cups & saucers; wooden trunks refinished and could be used for end or coffee tables; vases, serving pieces, estate jewelry, fashion jewelry, art, small pieces of furniture, barware, glassware, and vintage material & clothing. Fell in love with a pair of off-white boots with flowers embroidered up to the knee. They were stunning! If only they fit! A one of a kind statement piece. Hanging on a wall was a macrame owl. Quirky, homemade, vintage - I had to have it! That's what is so fantastic about these type of stores. Hundreds of people probably walked by that owl without a pause and yet it stopped me in my tracks! In addition to standard art like canvas and pictures, I like to adorn my walls with different expressions of unique art. This owl will definitely do that. And for $12, no risk. The owner is clearly passionate about her business, as excited as I was for my "finds!l She was chatting with several customers that obviously stop in often and just as easily made conversation with tourists visiting from out of state. She packaged my items in a bag with orange tissue and a bow, definitely a boutique touch. First time here but I will be back, for sure. On Nov 6th, 2021, they are celebrating their 8 year anniversary with 20% off and mimosas all day. See you there!

Absolutely Fabulous boutique! Truly. From the minute I walked in, I recognized the love & thought…read morethat went into curating a collection of women's clothing that provides quality fabrics, modern yet timeless design, and comfort! Take it from me, a fashionista at heart who has shopped in many boutiques, Willow & Bark is a gem! This boutique in The Dalles can rival any boutique in Portland or other cities. The owner, Traci Griffith, is delightful. Helpful without being pushy, its like shopping with a friend, but one who is honest about how a piece of clothing looks and fits. Traci wants you to look and feel your best. Traci opened the boutique the November before Covid hit so her first 2 years in business have been tough. I'm so happy to have discovered this gem and hope others find it and support her. We need this boutique to be successful so we have a place to shop and find fashionable clothing! Sourced from many lines, there are flowing maxi dresses in subtle patterns; denim dresses in a variety of lengths; jean jackets with a modern design; blouses with beautiful prints; leggings and slim pants; jeans; duster length cardigans; and soft, gorgeous, comfy sweaters. A sweater by Shana Apparel in neutral fall colors with birds captivated me; if only she had my size! Same with a white fuzzy tunic with an Aztec print at the bottom and on the sleeves. I need to shop here often to make sure I can grab my size before others get to it! To make an outfit you're own, there are plenty of accessories. Colorful scarves, long dangly earrings, necklaces in many lengths, even some shoes, handbags, totes and hats. There are some home decor and gift items, too. Neutral pillows with lots of texture, throw blankets, lotions and candles, too. Items are well priced across the spectrum so anyone and everyone can find something within their budget. Located right on E 2nd, you don't want to miss this boutique! With The Pines 1852 Wine Tasting to the right and The Work Shop gift store on the left, and Sigman's Flowers and Gifts across the street, this is the block to shop! I spend a lot of time in Hood River and have recently been making my way to The Dalles. For 20 years, The Dalles has been a direction - meaning I-84 always posts The Dalles to identify the eastern direction of the interstate - but now The Dalles has become a destination in itself for me. Willow & Bark Boutique is one of the reasons! I will be back, often! Highly recommend!

Traci sells excellent, quality brands that I had never heard of, but have learned to love; they have become my "brand" of choice. Traci works hard to keep the shop looking good and every season offers fun, classic and colorful choices. When Traci isn't in the store, her sidekick, Jackie, does a great job too. Nice job, ladies!

This small and expanding Artisan gallery is worth a stop if you are in The Dalles. Located inside…read moreThe Spotlight Cafe, next to the gorgeous Granada Theatre, the space is peppered with a variety of handcrafted items and food products - all local. Deborah, the owner, explained that when the building next door collapsed, many of the businesses in this area were in jeopardy. While her business, the Spotlite Cafe, is not currently serving food, she has filled the space with products made by local artisans to give them a place to showcase their goods. The items are very diverse. Aprons by Ragmuffin catch your eye when you enter. The whimsical fabrics and shapes -that actually compliment your shape - are adorable and it's hard to chose just one! The aprons are reversible with a different pattern on the flip side in the same color palette giving you two options. They have much needed pockets in front and ties in the back that make them adjustable. For Christmas I gifted two of these and the recipients were delighted. There are even aprons skirts, which I use, and mini aprons for children. Lots of jackets for your pup in multiple fabrics, sizes and materials so you can keep them dry and warm. A sprinkling of jewelry, locally roasted coffee, honey, candles, fudge, fabric crossbody bags and totes in fun patterns round out the items in the first room As you make your way to the adjoining room, it's filled with purses and handbags made from various materials and lots of tapestry and embellishments. The scarves are particularly beautiful in wonderful palettes and yummy yarns and fibers. Even some felted gloves, hand warmers and a few tops and tunics. Most definitely one of a kind wearable art made by Deborah. I'm in love with a scarf and tunic in shades of the sea. The shop is small, so set your expectations. I give it five stars because I love the intent behind this space. It's all about supporting those that really need our help during these trying times, giving local artists a place to showcase and sell their art. Whenever I'm in The Dalles I will stop by to see what's new and will definitely keep them in mind for gifts. Deborah said they will most likely change the name and combine The Spotlite Cafe and Gorge-us so I will update this review when that occurs. Located right on E 2nd by the Granada Theatre, a landmark in The Dalles, you can't miss it. Open M-F from 11-3 although they were open on a Saturday this past week. Support local!

A variety of necklace lengths and styles; lots of long and dangly earrings; and bracelets and rings round out the offerings in several cases throughout the boutique. The clothing is just as exquisite and individualized. Lovely pieces that you won't find anywhere else. I fell in love with a midi length dress in warm earth tones of gray blue and golden browns. So bummed they didn't have my size! Instead I opted for a black crochet sweater made in Italy. The style was unique; oversized with fitted half sleeves, tunic length, boxy yet somehow managed not to look like a big sack! It actually flattered a women's curvy shape. The day I visited was the annual tree lighting known as Imd Dreaming if a White Salmon Christmas - don't you just love that! The shops were open and offering lots of sales. This gorgeous sweater was 50% off plus another 10% off for the sale so for just $45 I have a gorgeous and functional addition to my wardrobe. Christine was working that night and she was super friendly, welcoming and helpful offering objective opinions as I was trying on various items. Christine made all of the beautiful macrame pieces hanging in the shop, some 10 feet long. They add a texture to a space without competing with anything in a room. I'm now dreaming of a white macrame wall hanging for Christmas! Definitely visit this shop right in the heart of White Salmon nestled between restaurants and other boutiques. So many wonderful items in one place!
