If you're anywhere near Piana, you must find an excuse to stop here for at least a glass of something on their terrace. I almost fainted when I saw the view. But since I didn't, I proceeded to snap pics in front of the worlds most ideal backdrop. It's a hotel + restaurant, but you can just pop in for a drink during sunset prime time. Drinks are shockingly affordable (wines for $7-10 glass). We decided to stay for dinner too, and the food was good -- not the best we had in France, but still impressive. Service was some of the most polished we experienced in Europe. Prepare for the celebrity treatment, without the celeb prices. Heaven!

Everything was delivered very quickly and was quite good - from the wine to the water, to the bread, to the entrée I ordered of Normandy-style risotto. The food was delicious and the portions were huge, meaning that I felt like I needed to be rolled out of there, but that was my fault not theirs haha. I would happily go back!
