Delicious pizza. Good service. Prices are a bit on higher side, but still worth it. On weekdays also reservation recommended.

While entering the restaurant, we were a little confused about whether to go throught the second…read moreglass door or whether to climb the wooden stairs. It turned out to be the second glass door. While the entrance of the restaurant is not the most welcoming one, the actual area around the tables however has a very nice atmosphere, they even have fabric napkins instead of simple paper. The menu is more or less what you find at every other italian restaurant too, but they do have a page for seasonal stuff (mussels at the moment) as well as a page for suggestions by the chef. It also has all the dishes (except for the previously mentioned 2 pages) explained in english. The top of the pages have a comment, that they use minced meat only, which was their try to translate the German information that their ground meat is beef only (while ground pork or a mix of ground pork and beef is very common in Germany as well). The prices for the starters are somewhere around 5EUR, simple main courses (Pizza, Pasta) are around 8-12EUR while e.g. beef filet and similar may rise the price to 20EUR and beyond. The waiter was a little unmotivated and would probably do well, to use a little notebook. He was not very attentive either which showed in our candle going out (which he finally removed but never replaced) and our empty glasses standing on the table until we left (even though he came back to the table a few times). We started our meal with Bruschetta. It was being served on selfmade little breads, but the tomatoes did not look too amazingly fresh anymore and it was a little salty. They were arranged nicely on a plate with a little bit of lettuce in the middle and a few herbs sprinkled on the edge of the plate. Our main course came fast and steaming hot (even though they were rather busy). My Spaghetti Carbonara Originale (they offer two versions of carbonara, one the way it is supposed to be and another, in Germany better known, version with a cheese-creme-sauce) were tastewise okay. My wife's Canneloni were somewhat bland. Both dishes kind of lacked any presentation, the only thing done was those few herbs on the edge of the spaghetti plate. For dessert we shared Tiramisu, which was wonderfully arranged and tasted good as well. According to the stickers on their door, they do accept VISA and Mastercard, we however paid with our ATM-card, so we cannot confirm it.
