Full disclosure, I did know Tara before we asked her to be our photographer but that, if anything, made it even easier to work with her. Due to the pandemic, we had to make…read morequite a few changes to the wedding (i.e., delaying the wedding, changing the venue after our venue shut down, and streamlining the schedule), but Flee was very understanding and flexible. She was able to accommodate requests that we made for COVID safety reasons, and we were able to communicate effectively in the run-up to the wedding even though we were not able to meet in person. On the day of, Flee was a warm and wonderful presence. She was so helpful in figuring out where to set up our first look and family photos, and was so efficient in getting all the photos we wanted done. I have not really ever done posed photos like this, but Flee made my husband and I feel comfortable and nothing ever felt awkward or forced. Everything felt natural and we had so much fun throughout the day. Flee was also very careful given the COVID precautions, and we always felt safe. And the photos! Photography was one of my main priorities for the wedding, and Flee's photos were so lovely. They really make us smile when we go through them, whether it is the posed photos or the smallest details. She also got some amazing pictures of our beloved doggy, which made us so happy. The photographs really are beautiful. I cannot recommend Flee enough! Some of the best advice we received while planning our wedding was "hire vendors you genuinely like." We genuinely liked having Stephen present on our special day; he was attentive, friendly, and somehow relaxed and present while capturing the seemingly endless flow of beautiful moments. We LOVE Stephen's emphasis on candid shots; he caught countless incredible moments on film where you can easily see the immensity, joy, and love of the day. Not only did the photos come out great, but they were professional and efficient with posed photos. That ended up being really important to us because it was extremely hot out (103!), so it was great to get through the photos quickly and get everyone back into the shade! Due to some unforeseen complications with our venue, we had to change both the venue and the schedule slightly, relatively late into the planning process. E&B were extremely helpful in figuring out how we could still get all the time for photos we needed, even proactively looking around for an air-conditioned space we could use to take pictures before the ceremony itself. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for wedding photos, they were able to take charge when needed for posed photos to make sure we got some excellent shots, but other than that we wouldn't even have known they were there!
