He is a bit of a science geek, so he understands and can explain what he does. He his happy to describe how his tools, tests, and our prescriptions work. Once, when I took my daughter to pick up new glasses, a playmate tagged along. The girl mentioned that she was color blind, so Dr. Christman gave her a color exam on the spot. It was fascinating for all of us. Her family optometrist hadn't believed she could not see a difference between reds and greens, and made her cry.

When I called in to talk about the bill the office manager, Misti then threatened to turn my bill over to county clerk the day I got it in the mail! She was very rude and condescending over the phone. Very unprofessional and poorly trained. Will NEVER return. Since then I have had over 15 other people with complaints about office staff and office manager. Not a one time/one person issue.

Paid in full on Aug. 2026 for surgery done in June 2025. First response to my inquiry was it was an oversight and it was paid in full, retracted that phone call with oops sorry you really do still owe this amount. I questioned if this is Medicare fraud or just taking advantage of older patients? Person totally denied all accounts of fraud. Unfortunately, the actual first surgery was a bust. Wrong lens inserted and treated very rudely by the Dr after the procedure. Would not recommend this business for any eye care going forth.

After using Kearney Eye, im on my way back to the old office quick and in a hurry. Everytime I come here, one of the members of the staff- dont know or care what she does - is the rudest thing to deal with. Luckily shes not a receptionist that represents the company because she would turn clients off completely. She tries to make you feel dumb for asking questions most of us dont know the answer to or she mansplains it. Last time I was here, she was the most insensitive person in the building, probably the only insensitive one. My child was upset and all we got was this callous human being. Leanne could benefit GREATLY from sensitivity training or just basic human decency. The receptionists are usually very sweet but her demeanor overshadows everything else i like about this place.
