I made an appointment for July, went for the "free" cleaning and was then told I owed them $180!!! They gave me a "special" cleaning so charged extra for that, none of which was discussed during the actual cleaning appointment. I was told not to go to this practice because they were not honest and I guess that was true. A friend of mine was told by them she needed a root canal and went for a second and third opinion, all who told her that was unnecessary. Find an honest dentist who is not corporate owned.

I had the best experience and felt like a guest and not just another patient walking in. After getting scanned I was scheduled to pick up my Retainers at the Rolesville Location. I received a very warm welcome as soon as I walked in, I'm still on cloud 10 with the customer service.. My name was called I head back to the chair to try on my retainer. The young lady that was assigned to me was extremely rude and not understanding at all. Once I tried on the retainer it was fitting like it should, she then ask have you ever worn a 2 mm before in a very condescending way. I responded No. so then she says you may have to go back to the Raleigh office to be rescan if you can't get it on.. It wasn't a conversation at all She was just talking at me, this is my first time meeting this young lady, So she walks over and speaks with The Dr. He said he's seen this happening once before. She maybe an impression would be best. the assistant tells me to go have a set at the chair closer to the wall. As I took my seat she came over never once telling what to do or what to expect, I'm looking at her she looking at me as if she is extremely frustrated, she say open your mouth and slide back some,, as my mouth was opened she places the impression in and I began to Gag, she pushed a little harder and a sharp pain along the gum line had become really intense, My natural reflect I jumped up she pushed harder and said if you can do this then you need to go back to our Raleigh location for another scan. After she removed the material out my eyes was am watering up and I ask her if she could be a little gentle bc I am a human being that has feelings, then as I was talking to her asking her to just explain what it is I should be expecting before she starts working on my mouth she became very upset and walks away, I turned around on the bench were I was sitting and told her that she was extremely nasty... Dr Lassiter walks over and ask how was everything going, I told him exactly what happened then he compared it to a 12 year old that has hard times with it as well, Honestly I didn't need a comparison I just need quality work along with great customer service.. The young lady comes back into the conversation and says she's not going to talk to me like that, How she thought I was speaking I thought then maybe she's having a day bc all I'm doing is letting her know I'm hurting. I just left it alone went to the front desk and the nice young lady explaining to me that it was definitely a day, short staffing that day due to employees out with Covid. I totally understand at that point, I have my own business and Around that time we were short staff as well, But the lack of concern was a turn off. I had white stuff all over me due to a lack of concern with the impression. And my mouth was bleeding. I literally was in pain for 5 day afterwards. I wanted to get a refund, But having a business knowing how things are going I Just told the young girl I'll give it a second chance, I came back a couple weeks later to pick up and they did not call me to the back the front desk receptionist dispensed my retainer to me told me to go to the bathroom to try on , the dr did not check to see if it was a good fit.. I did not say anything I'll take a loss on this one but let me tell you this last thing, the assistant that originally help me so happens to come out to speak with a patient and she looks at me a rolled her eyes. I did not say anything I just know after I get my retainer I will never step foot back into this practice ever again.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Laster for any orthodontic needs! My initial consultation with Dr. Laster…read morewas due to an interest in Invisalign after my teeth moved from losing my retainers as a teenager (when they say don't put your retainer in a napkin at a restaurant, it's for good reason...). However, I ended up choosing to do a Laster Perfect Smile (LPS) treatment instead and I am absolutely thrilled with my decision + the results! The LPS treatment is basically the same concept as Invisalign (clear plastic aligners) except they are made on-site and created using a 3-D scanner and printer! It was much more affordable, the quality was much more controlled, and if I broke an aligner (from grinding my teeth in my sleep) then I didn't have to wait for it to be sent to an off-site lab. You can tell Dr. Laster loves what he does and it shows! I will definitely recommend Dr. Laster to anyone I know that needs aligners or braces! Thank you, Dr.L and team!

I called shortly after learning they were open and scheduled my appointment. I was able to get a routine cleaning on the books within a week or two which is way sooner than I expected. I have never complained about paying out of pocket. In my entire adult life, I was never charged this much for a routine cleaning, which was only partially done (no polishing)! I bought the Package ($315) they offer, which is supposed to include 2 cleanings (6 months apart) and x-rays and exam for the year. My appt for December 30th only included the x-rays, I was told I needed to come back for the cleaning, which was scheduled for January 5th. When I arrived at said time, but I wasn't on their books and had to come back the next day. I was charged an addition $210 for the cleaning after the hygienist told me this was included with my package, which they now claim was a "deep cleaning", but it was not any different from any routine cleaning I have had every 6 months my entire life. Now I'm scheduled to go back in February for the polishing which should have been done with the cleaning! Triangle Family Dentistry in Pittsboro is scamming people who do not have insurance. Probably scamming insurance companies also... We are paying for their designer waiting room and taking up the entire second floor of the building.
