I went here to get my 3rd Reiki energy adjustment along with a crystal bowl sound bath. I have had…read morethose but separate. The sound bath of 15 minutes started the session and 45 minutes of Reiki finish the session. Total cost of the session was $80 plus I left a nice tip. Very professional from the ease to setup the appointment on line and only had to pay a $25 deposit to hold the appointment. Alex did a pre session interview taking notes about why I was there and what I hope to get from it. I had read that if your energy was very out, it is better to have 3 sessions of reiki in 6 weeks. I used 3 different therapists for this. After the session, he had a written form of what he found, what he did, and the outcome. Besides the chakras, he also diid a look at the rest of the body. He texted me a picture of the sheet the next day. He was very understanding about the fact my late soulmate is very protective of me and needed to be asked for me to have any hands. Alex could even see EBS. I plan to keep my energy more inline since I have been fighting leg pain and weakness which has improved. I plan to do that quarterly so I do plan to return.

All I can say is WOW. This man knows his stuff…read more A few years ago, my then-wife and I took a rec and ed course on basic ballroom dancing that was taught by Dorian. He has clear passion for dancing and for sharing his amazing gift with others. He also has the right ATTITUDE to be an effective instructor. Patient, understanding, knowing how to work with "room temperature IQ" types who are "legends in their own minds", and effectively dealing with Fred Astaire wannabes with two left feet, Dorian gave all the people in the class COMPETENCE and CONFIDENCE, when it was clear that he was so, so, so much better than those in the class. I simply cannot give a stronger recommendation to this outstanding teacher. He is a fabulous dancer with loads of talent but makes everyone feel that they are making good progress. If I had to select just one person to teach me ballroom dancing for an important event (holiday party, wedding, etc.), I would entrust that awesome responsibility to Dorian Deaver. It is similar to recruiting Michael Jordan or LeBron James to teach a basic high school basketball clinic. Damn! You simply cannot do better. I was a bit hesitant but my MD encouraged me to use MBSR to help alleviate some persistent pain issues I've experienced for years. Rather than medication, a mindful approach may help make me feel better. I finished the class in March and here it is in May and my life has changed for the better. MBSR can't accomplish miracles but it has given me a beautiful approach to enjoy life, alleviate issues, and look at pain, people, and the need to be "busy and productive" in a different way. Brenda is a warm, sensitive, thoughtful, and practiced person with a gentle approach to leading you through the eight weeks of MBSR.
