We had the best time on our manatee snorkel tour! Lacey and Eric made sure that we got the most out of our tour by finding manatees and approaching them in a respectful, calm way. I really appreciated their focus on the comfort and peacefulness of the manatees, even if that means we couldn't see one because there was already a group of people around it. We still were able to beat the crowd to two manatees and Lacey was excellent at guiding us toward her! She handled our large tour group at ease and with confidence. We even got to dive at two spring heads! The hot chocolate on the boat at the end was a nice touch as well. We will definitely be back!

Our visit was on the 8am trip of May 10th. Though it is not prime manatee season Captain Chad and our guide Jacob did everything they could to give us the best experience we could have in the off-season. Captain Chad had someone checking the waterways via drone to scope out the prime spots for manatee observation. At our first stop Jacob got into the water first to see if the manatee was in the mood for visitors. He realized that the manatee wasn't keen on having us nearby so he hopped back on the boat and Captain Chad took us to another location. He sent up another drone and was able to locate a mama and baby grazing nearby. Jacob was great about making sure everyone was able to get a good view of these amazing creatures. He even pulled me from the back of our group of 4 to get me up front as I was keeping more than a respectful distance to the manatees and was missing a lot by hanging so far back. They both went over and beyond to give us the best experience and I felt like we were hanging out with friends. Back at the shop we were able to hold baby opposums that had been rescued and were being cared for by the staff. We made a few purchases and made sure to purchase all the photos and videos Jacob took on our adventure for $40. This was one of the best experiences of my life and we will definitely be back :)

It was really great. Captain John is very funny and very informative! I called the morning of and they were able to get me in the last available spot. It was my birthday and they sang happy birthday to me it was so sweet. We only really saw two manatees, but that's okay because it was still magical. They don't advertise this but they actually have hot showers afterwards.

What an amazing tour!! Very knowledgeable guides, great views, and extremely professional. Definitely recommend this tour. My roommate and I drove down from Tallahassee and we loved it so much! We cannot wait to come back. Compared to other companies, Manatee Tour and Dive blows the competition out of the water! (No pun intended)

Amazing! Tour guide Tristan and Captain Makayla were so much fun! We saw SO MANY manatees, and even got to see how the springs come from the ground. Took us to an area where we saw schools of fish and Tristan took some great group photos of us all so we were able to be very much in the moment!!! Would 1000% recommend them and this company. The kids loved the hot chocolate as well when moving locations.

We had a great experience and I highly recommend this tour. We arrived later in the day as a last minute reservation and the team went out of their way to ensure we got our money's worth. The captain and the in-water guide were both very nice. We were lucky enough to see a mamma and her calf, even though it was off season (August). I hope to be a return customer in the future.

OMG, he is RIGHT under me!

We had a blast Swimming with the Manatees. Brookelyn and Capt. Chad know all the manatees' favorite spots. They were both great at coaching novice snorkelers. We were a set of grandmas and teenage grandsons and every one of had an awesome time.

    Manatees in the water

We went on a manatee tour. The captains we had Mak and Matt were awesome! They were both very knowledgeable about manatees and kind. We had a great time seeing and swimming with the manatee's. There were so many manatees out when we went. I had a great experience getting to swim with them. The wounded warrior group was confusing when we first showed up, but other than that we had a great time.

AMAZING!!! A big thanks to Luke (guide) and Wayne (Boat captain). We had the best time. We just stumbled upon this place. A really big thank you for letting us take our dogs or we wouldn't of been able to go. You guys are awesome

Captain Alex knew exactly where to take us to see some manatees and scoped our new places to check out while we were in the water.

Crystal River was always one of my favorite places to play in the water. So during our "drive by" selected to do Captain Wayne's 2 hour manatee tour. I knew it was a shot in the dark because, well June, they are rare in the rivers this time of year. My BFF was hoping to see dolphins (also rare in the rivers I know). When we boarded first thing he asked was what we wanted out of this journey, we told him our hopes. We set sail in his wonderful pontoon boat completely shaded in the hot Florida sun. He told stories and provided information and answered all our silly questions with such importance we felt valued for our interests and not silly for asking such question. We happened upon ( I'm sure he did the searching but we never saw) our first pod of manatees coming up and diving so wonderful we were thrilled. After a little bit we came up on yet another pod of manatees. The respect and distance he gave them while insuring our amazing views was the marks of a caring and mindful captain. We were heading back in and time was short. But then Captain Wayne's spotted some dolphins getting ready to feed. He explained the process and what we could expect and it was AMAZING! Watching them circle the school of fish and watching them catch in midair was just a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed and watched the whole thing, running our time over by almost 30 minutes. He never rushed or even noticed that I could see. I have seen many places touristy (cattle feeds I call them) rushing in and never connecting. I can promise you this is not that. If you have time and are in Crystal River - Take this cruise with Captain Wayne, I believe you will not regret this decision! Captain Wayne's, if you're reading this - thank you thank you thank you for everything, you made it so special. A day we will not forget.
