I have been a patient of Dr. Esser for just about 10 years now. I was so fortunate to find Dr. Esser at a very trying time in life. I was extremely frustrated with the major Healthcare system of big corporations such as "St. Vincent" hospital, and "The Doctors Clinic" I hadn't had medical care in many many years when I first came to Dr. Esser, to say I needed more than OBGYN care would be an understatement. Esser really takes a holistic healing approach to health. She guided me through many medical situations, helped me with my overall health, diet, nutrition, vitamins for overall well being. She is a problem solver. She puts real time into solutions varying dosages of medications until we have the right outcome. She is also an incredible surgeon. At 35 years old I was in need of a total hysterectomy- She called me from her home over the weekend to check on me. Continuing to make sure I was well. *And to the reviewers saying its hard to get an appointment- yes she does book appointments out 1 to 2 months, she is a private practitioner and she is excellent and well worth the wait*

Here's a polished review you can post:…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this OB-GYN office. I called in December as a returning patient after two years, and I was told the next available appointment would not be until May. I asked if I could be placed on a cancellation or waiting list for anything sooner, but they told me no. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 30 minutes early to the office I had previously visited, only to find out the provider had moved to Gig Harbor. I immediately called the office, but they do not speak directly with patients, only through text messaging. I explained that I was already on my way and would only be about 10 minutes late due to the address confusion. Instead of trying to accommodate me, they told me I would need to reschedule all the way until August and then charged me a $100 no-show fee. When the appointment reminder was sent, I did not notice the new address, but after waiting five months for an appointment, I do not believe this situation was handled fairly or professionally. Charging a long-term returning patient a no-show fee under these circumstances feels unreasonable and shows a lack of compassion and flexibility toward patients.

These women are phenomenal! (I went to the urgent care side )…read more I felt that I was 100% cared for the minute I walked in. The receptionist was so kind and welcoming . I finished handing over my info and was instantly taken back by a lovely nurse . She is shorter, curly hair and specs and I adored her ! She was so sweet to my 5 month old as I was getting my care. I decided to get my ear pierced and it got infected. I felt that all my concerns were in my chart and then the Dr came in she was lovely as well. She took my piercing out since I couldn't get it . Then sent the culture away for staff , she had someone come clean my ear up . Let me go with antibiotics she was keen to tell me if the swelling is there after the meds I need to Return ASAP! My time here was quick and painless , they were all so helpful and genuine I felt truly wanted there not like other clinics that you feel that your a burden . I live in port orchard and drove an hour to get here with my 5 month old and felt that my time here was spent well . Thank you to everyone from the minute I walked in to Leaving I appreciate this staff so much ! I got my results back and I have staff .

My doctor is great, but the wait time to see him is measured in months. Virginia Mason relies…read moreheavily on PAs and RNPs and tries to push everything to them or Teledoc. The lab at the Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Clinic is incredibly unreliable, so I drive half an hour to LabCorp. The lab is frequently short staffed, has unreliable hours, and long wait times. They also often out of supplies so cannot do some tests. They made an error on one test and called on of my family members at 11 pm telling her to go to the Emergency Room immediately. When we arrived, the ER seemed perplexed. They ran the same test and then sent her home at 3 AM. Nearly every time we have tried to use their Urgent Care we are checked in, triaged, and sent to the ER in Silverdale or Bremerton. The business model is to have long wait times for doctor's visits so almost all issues are seen initially in the Urgent Care; no same day or next day appointments. The seemingly endless string of medical records data breeches, and monopoly pricing complete the picture.
