Our waitress was so nice and the sweet tea was delicious. This is Southern granny cooking just like my grandma made when I was a child. You can order single plates but the best deal is their family-style for $23 a person with black-eyed peas, green beans, stewed tomatoes, biscuits and corn bread, mashed potatoes and gravy and fried chicken with one other protein - we chose pot roast and it was soft and delicious. I wanted dessert - but it was so filling we had to skip although all their pies sounded wonderful. This is a historic old log cabin-type building with plenty of tables inside and they were super nice and low-key for us and our baby. Food was out almost instantly and everything was delicious.
