Ok so in a bit biased as it is just across the road but the breakfast wraps and hot food counter in this garage are hard to beat. Good food cooked fresh! Ohh and if you drive I think they do petrol. read more

Centra Boucher Road

As far as centras go this one is very good, modern clean and a huge selection of goods…read more I visit here regularly as it is just across the road from one of my offices, the reason I decided to review it was due to their hot food counter which is one of the best I have ever come across in a petrol station store. Fresh made stew, lasagne, pasta bakes you name it they have it all very cheap. My personal favourite is the hot chicken baguette a large sub filled with sliced southern fried Chicken breast and all the salad that will fit in only £3.50 and prepared in front of you fresh. Also worth mentioning is the coffee from the machine inside is decent, freshly ground beans and only £1.50. The ideal spot for a quick cheap lunch on the road.
Creightons Of Finaghy

We have been taking our cars to Creightons Garage for servicing for over 13 years. Unfortunately,…read moretheir level of service has declined significantly over the past couple of years. I recently took my car in for a service and an MOT, and it failed the MOT twice. The person who checked the car said the reason could be many things and admitted that he did not know the exact cause. My car stayed at the garage for several days without any solution. I paid for everything they asked for, yet there was still no solution and no refund offered. I no longer recommend this garage for servicing. We have lost a great deal of time, money, and--most importantly--trust.
The price of their Petrol is extortionate. Only idiots fill up at Creightons.read more
Go
Welcome to the future! Forget queueing up at the pumps or the cash registers to pay for your fuel,…read morejust go to Go! If you haven't been to one of these garages yet you're missing a trick! The fuel is as cheap as any of the other garages out there and you can be in and out in 5 minutes, plus it's 24 hour! The reason I used this service was because the other garage I go to was closed as it was after 11pm. The self service machines are easy to operate and while you're filling up your car the touch screen monitor plays a video explaining where your fuel was sourced from and how it got to you. I actually found this interesting - turns out Go provide the fuel for all of norther Ireland's buses and train so it must be good. There's loads of pumps so you won't have to wait and as previously stated the fuel is exactly the same price as the high street rivals (Tesco's, Asda etc). I can't think of a reason not to give Go five stars!

Over the last 20 years or so, it's been my port of call for everything from Calpol to Petit Pain, open 24 hours and with a cash machine outside, it's extremely handy when you need something outside of the normal shopping hours. It comes complete with its own Post Office with a bureau de change (for travel money) and even has a Subway! It's cuisine de France range is freshly baked on site and there are fresh apple tarts produced on Sunday. What more could you possibly ask for? I will admit it's hard not to pick up one of their treats for £1 deal while at the checkout... They're playing to my weaknesses!

It is now open 24 hours a day which makes it all the more handy if you need something at an inconvenient time and with a cash point beside it you will never be stuck for cash to get that bag of crisps for the walk home from your mates house at 5 o'clock on a Sunday morning! One of the truly great things about this shop is that it stocks one of the most popular (mostly for sentimental reasons) drinks I've come across in Ireland, especially for Belfast locals familiar with holidays to Donegal...the infamous 'Football Special'! I've only ever seen it sold in Donegal (approx 80miles away) so for it to be available in Cooley's is quite a feat and a very novel idea.

It is definitely not the nicest or stock the best food or groceries, or even offer the best services. But if you lived in east Belfast I cant think of a filling station that is better value. You'll find it has most of the goodies, drinks, household items and magazines that you would expect it to have. In the past they have had a couple of thefts in the shop from some youths with nothing better to do and at the counter where you pay they have some pictures taken form CCTV footage of youths stealing. I used to enjoy jokingly enquiring every week how the investigation was progressing!!! At the end of the day, most of us need petrol. For me I like to pay as little as I can when i fill up.

It was en route to work at the time and seemed to have the best prices. A couple of years down the line it still has the best fuel prices and remains very busy. Likewise shop part is unchanging, just a limited selection of food and household items. You can always get a pint of milk in this one, but most certainly not anything healthy like fresh fruit or vegetables, but really, that's fair enough for a filling station first and foremost.

The shop itself is busy enough, considering it's right beside Tesco (see my Tesco Dunmurry review). Some people probably can't be bothered parking around the back of Tesco if they've only to get one or two items, and probably just take a run in here. It's also on the left hand side if you're travelling from Belfast to Lisburn, so I think it gets quite busy after 5p.m. with commuters on their way home. Apart from petrol, the main attraction of these garages is that they almost all have ATMs, which is very convenient. This feature alone ensures that these garages all do well.
