And they are damn good at it too. All the big boys like Makers Mark, Jim Beam and the others use a Vendome still. This place is absolutely AMAZING and what these welders do is PHENOMENAL especially when it comes to the world of the spirits industry! To see the product that they produce in my opinion is art. The different size pot stills, column stills and other machines are breathtaking. I won't even mention the prices related to them. For our visit Vendome had a beautiful julep ready for us accented with a copper straw. Obviously we had to sign a safety waiver and were required to wear closed toe shoes. But they provided hearing and eye protection as well as gloves for those of us who wanted to pound on some of that copper and shape it up! The employees were very respectful and inviting and entertained all of our questions. They really made us feel very comfortable. This business has 3 or 4 generations of family who continue to carry that torch making it a continued success. If you ever come across an event where they are allowing visitors, make sure you attend!

Can't recommend Ted and 502 Construction enough!…read more In fact, I have given his info to two people so far and will likely be sharing it even more in the future. I reached out to 502 Construction via Yelp, and Ted, the owner, responded directly to me and came out to look at our issue firsthand before giving us a quote. It meant so much to be able to talk to him about this from the start. The stone facade on a back wall in our garden had fallen off, due to water getting behind the stone and freezing. We also wanted to add a brick topper to that wall, to match the wall on the other side of our back yard, and we wanted a metal railing added to the length to prevent anyone from falling off the side of the wall, which abuts our parking pad. Ted's bid was fair, and when he started the work, he was at our house everyday (excluding a couple of days due to bad weather) until it was complete. He was communicative and receptive throughout. And his work more than met our expectations. He had to individually measure and cut maybe 100 bricks so that the topper would work with the incline of the wall. He went a couple of places to find brick that would match brick we already had at our house, and he cut and welded the railing on site. We still need to paint the railing, but it is night and day better compared to what it was. (I will be sure to add before-and-after photos once it is 100% complete.) Ted is going on our list of contractors to have handy and to recommend to all who will listen.

I came over to his shop, after calling first to set up a time to meet, with the most basic of drawings and proper dimensions describing what I was building; an outdoor Black Oak shelf bookcase. We talked through things like the weight of the slabs, over all height/weight and after determining that 1/4 inch steel would suffice with curved corners - I was happy. Charlie had them done in about 7 days and they were perfect. When I picked them up I drove over and dropped them at the powder coater. Could not be more happy with the craftsmanship, the easy going professional attitude and the price was great too. Not enough stars in this recommendation for me!
