I tried other doctors until one day I happened onto Harlingen Podiatry Association to discover her again. She has never been wrong about my problems and takes care of them in a very businesslike way, along with a side of humor. I've always thought my attitude affects the way I am treated by a doctor, but Dr. Gaul is one of my favorites.

What I did not appreciate how honesty turned to more a condescending tone quickly. Reprimand me for not doing a follow up, fine. Then she continued to tell me how wrong I was about a sample collection I brought in, fine, okay. She went on about the notes in the previous appointment 6 years previously, I guess she felt I needed a refresher, fine. I actually apologized claiming to possibly not hearing her correctly at the initial visit. She was a avalanche of anger just waiting for me this specific day, my luck. It just got worse. When she asked me to stick my feet straight out for the exam, I was trying. The seat was upright, she positioned it back some, I am tall, I started to get a cramp. Before I could actually put them out straight or had a chance to explain myself. She screamed, pulling on my feet and almost pulling me out of the chair. I was shocked, troubled for all the older adults in her care and unsuspecting future patients. I refuse further treatment immediately and I hope whoever reads this consider there options.

Things have really changed as far as my experience in the couple of visits that I had with him. I found that my visits with him were very expedited and one time he was about to leave the room, and I said, I have a couple of more questions for you, so he answered those. In subsequent visits he was very rushed too. Then I would not see him at all, I'd get a PA and it's not what I was paying for. One PA was a real ASS, he misdiagnosed me and was not aware that I had a copy of the MRI. He stated that I had inflammation and arthritis, when I pulled up the MRI on my phone showed him that there were NO notes which meant i was ok. His jaw dropped and eyes widened. Then I said a couple of choice words and left to never return. I think some Drs that have practiced for a while feel that patients won't mind and this likely allows them to make more money. I had the same problem with Dr Savinon, except that with him I requested a reimbursement for blood tests that he or the PAs never gave me results of. His office manager Mr Green decided to discontinue service to me after I forced him to give me my blood test money back. I had already started looking for another Dr, why would I stay there. Be cautious of the PAs, request to see your Dr. its what your insurance is for.
