These people will not allow reviews with fewer than four stars show up on their website. They…read morecharged twice their estimate. I paid $18,000!!! They wiped out my savings! I told them outright I wanted to keep all my furniture, but they marked furniture in my storage building to sell. I removed the markers and informed them. The wife of this husband/wife franchise SCREAMED at me because I messed up their work (which I was paying their employees by the hour to do!!!! (Note: a number of times their employees were seen just sitting or standing around doing nothing and talking.) She also SCREAMED at me that they quit. They had already pulled out a lot of stuff, and it was a big mess which I wasn't physically able to clean up, which they knew. Later at a meeting with both husband and wife, I feel I was manipulated into saying I would pay them $2,000+ over the estimate to finish the job. Also, the first week only the wife showed up to work. Some of the work had to be done on my screened in porch, and it was hot up in the day, which I couldn't handle, so I asked them to please start early in the morning around 6:00 a.m. They NEVER showed up before 9:00 a.m. and left around noon, and only worked three days a week most weeks. When the work moved inside, and I told them I could go longer, since it was cooler, they still only worked until about noonish. ... I told them emphatically that I needed to keep a notebook containing all my finances and tax information, and I told them where to put it. It ended up in the auction and sold!!! Fortunately a friend bought that lot, and I got it back. Later I found other things I wanted to keep had been sold, including valued chest with all my sewing thread, a large frame with my bachelor's degree diploma and honors society certificates and a matching frame of the graduation invitation which was a special gift (I can't find my master's degree diploma either), and other items. Also I found several boxes that had not been opened (were sealed) and not sorted. Things were outright stolen including three pairs of binoculors and an extra long outdoor extension cord, and possibly the chest of thread. ... I found they left seven bins with no lids and six bin lids that fit no lids. ... They were supposed to provide me with itemized lists of all items in all the auction lots but only provided a list of the lots' titles. They were supposed to provide receipts for all the items that were donated. I donated tons of books to Friends of the Library and received no receipt. I received a receipt for two bags of items to a local mission, but I donated way more than would have gone in two bags. They gave me a receipt for $500 made to a local animal shelter which I DID NOT MAKE! The wife resented my donating my scrapbooking and other supplies to my church's school and pushed me to let her auction the stuff. She did the same thing with some other things I gave to my church. ... The wife told me that I could have the auction proceeds returned to me if my bill didn't exceed what I paid them. The husband told me at the end that I was NEVER going to get that money. The wife bought (cheaply) some of my things and put them in later auctions to get more for them which, she said was to "make more money" for me. Later the husband told me they had purchased those things which now belonged to them, and I was NEVER going to get that money. ... There are other things, but on an up note, I do like my home being downsized which will be easier for me to move to (hopefully) a retirement home. The husband replaced the rollers on two of my tables for which I offered to pay for, and he refused. They also cleaned some dirty areas, including some where some mice had set up homes. But overall, beware when using these people and don't let them take advantage of you, especially if you are elderly and alone like me.

Blue Haven Pools, Manassas is incredible! It is the best pool construction experience we have ever…read morehad! We have lived in eight homes with in-ground pools. This is the fourth pool that we had built. We interviewed other local companies and were not at all satisfied. From the initial sales/design experience with Pete Cierski to the end, as Taylor Farms is filling our pool with water right now, each Blue Haven person or subcontractor has been extraordinary. This is a very professional organization who take their pool construction seriously. What a joy to work with Nate Krolikowski, Tom Roan, Erica Opatz, Jamie McDowell, Cheyenne Rincon, and Vicki Frye! They coordinated everything with over-the-top almost daily communication: emails, texts, phone calls, and visits! There was never a question or concern unanswered. Walter Santana's paving/tiling/coping installation was precise, exact and fabulous. He looked at the ground once and corrected a drainage problem. Throughout this process, every aspect of this construction has been outlined, described, scheduled and completed on time. We are just flabbergasted by the level of coordinated effort. All work has been supervised with returning observation - sometimes daily. Our pool is beautiful. We cannot say enough about this company, their materials and most importantly, care and professionalism provided to their customers. THANK YOU BLUE HAVEN!!
