While the booking process and overall professionalism were good, the makeup result itself was very disappointing. Additionally, I was not informed in advance that the $250 service did not include hair styling, which was frustrating given the occasion.

I can't believe that I have never written a review for Jamie!…read more I originally found Jamie through WeddingWire when I got engaged in August of 2013. We met in October of 2013 to do a makeup trial and we ended up just totally hitting it off! I signed up for the bridal package that she was offering at the time, which included wedding day makeup + 3 facials before the wedding. During that time, I started noticing a huge change in my skin. I switched from the drug store Neurtrogena products that I had always used to the Epicuren line that she recommended and over 5 years later, I've never looked back! I continue to see Jamie every 3-4 months for regular facials and my skin always looks amazing. She's so knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to answer questions. Her studio is small and cute, very clean and relaxing. I have recommended literally every person I know to go to her and they all have gone to her then become clients! She's amazing at what she does, not to mention she's the sweetest, most kind person I have ever met. Ps. She did my wedding makeup in 2014 and all my bridesmaids and everyone looked STUNNING! I had never felt more beautiful than I did on that day. Jamie- you're amazing! I swear I'll be a client for as long as you're in business! lol.

She has been doing this for about 10 years. She asks about your skin history and does a close examination of what type of skin and issues you may have. Afterwards, she works her magic on treating your face. She does a phenomenal job at explaining each product to you and a little history of the product and how the formulas for each one have evolved over time. I find that really useful and appreciate it a lot. She's not rough at all and applies the right amount of pressure to execute extractions and apply products. At the end, she recommends products for you to use at home and actually sells the products to you right there. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me. For a first time facial it was great and I'm definitely willing to return for another session.

As someone who knows next to nothing about hair and makeup, Kelly was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. We did two trials, and while the first makeup trial wasn't quite what I was looking for and the second got much closer, I still wasn't 100% confident we had landed on the perfect look. I tried my best to explain what I wanted, but I just couldn't quite put it into words. Somehow, Kelly understood exactly what I was envisioning and absolutely nailed it. My bridal look was everything I could have hoped for! I wish I had my wedding photos to share because the final look was everything I dreamed of, but I couldn't wait any longer to post this review! I'll include my hair from my 2nd trial instead, which is what we went with. Throughout the process, Kelly never made me feel rushed or dismissed my concerns. She truly listened, offered thoughtful guidance, and worked with me every step of the way until we got it right. She was so easy to work with, genuinely sweet, and her entire team was wonderful. I couldn't have been happier with my experience and would recommend her to any bride!

From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of in a way that's honestly rare. When they say all-inclusive, they mean it. I didn't have to stress about a single detail. They had the dress, the jewelry, the shoes, even the smallest accessories all ready for me, and everything fit perfectly. It felt like stepping into a space where I could just exist and be taken care of. Novia (the owner and photographer) is so incredibly patient and talented. She guided me through everything. From helping me choose an aesthetic during the consultation to gently directing me through poses in a way that made me feel confident instead of awkward (which is HUGE for me). Even though I booked just 2 days before, she never made me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Ceci did my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful. The makeup was high quality and lasted all day, and it still felt like me in a softer, more elevated version. Amanda was also so sweet and attentive the entire time. The energy of the whole team is just so warm, kind, and genuine. But what really stayed with me was how they made me feel. They didn't just take photos. They created a space where I could reconnect with myself. I felt feminine, confident, and honestly a little emotional seeing myself that way again. It felt like a reset. Like I was being reminded of a version of myself I hadn't seen in a while. And then on top of all that, they gave me a birthday gift, which completely caught me off guard and meant so much to me. It turned an already special experience into something I'll never forget. The studio itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed (there's even a snack corner which is such a cute touch). Booking was easy, parking was easy, everything about the experience felt smooth and intentional. If you're hesitating because you're not "photogenic," or you're waiting for the "right time", this is your sign to just do it. I would 1000% come back, and I'm already thinking about their membership. This wasn't just a photoshoot. It was healing in a way I didn't expect. Thank you Bloomin!

A TRULY ALL INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE- makeup, hair, wardrobe, set design, modeling coach! I've never found anything like it! My experience was nothing short of wonderful and most importantly COMFORTABLE. I got a K-style headshot similar to k-pop idol photo cards and a professional headshot because I hadn't taken a proper headshot (at least ones I liked) in at least 3-4 years! I opted to have my hair and makeup done so I could just show up stress free. Ceci wasn't just on time, she was early for my glam. I filled out a mini color analysis and vibe quiz to narrow down the vision. I also wanted to try something very girly and soft which is honestly polar opposite of my usual. I just wanted to try something different for my "fun" headshot. Ceci took her time with hair and makeup, was very detailed, and when I TELL YOU THE FOUNDATION MATCH WAS IMPECCABLE! The base was flawless and every imperfection was concealed. I looked like a filter. She also picked out 3 tops for me to choose from, yes wardrobe styling was included too! I'm an Asian midsize girl, so..fat by Asian standards and I brought tops from home worried I wouldn't fit into anything they had. I was wrong. They absolutely had clothes that fit me as a US large. God bless them! That made me feel so much less insecure. Novia my photographer took care of the set, lighting, and posing which made things so much easier. No guessing what to do. She gave clear instructions on where to look, how to pose, the softness of the expression, I didn't have to overthink a damn thing. They touch up my hair and moved it around as needed. She was very patient with me because I was still a little stiff and tense at the start and really loosened up my expressions and posing towards the second half. I didn't know what to choose for my professional head shot so I let Novia decide. Man she knows what really makes you shine! I really thought I was a warm toned Autumn palette girly but when I saw myself in a cool toned photo, I was wowed! Grey and black, never would've picked that for myself. Even the pink themed girly shoot utilized a cool toned pink and the makeup used neutral-cool tones and I was surprised at how it came out! I definitely took some of those tips home with me and changed a couple of my makeup and outfit choices! No doubt I'll be back. I wanna do a birthday shoot and redo my wedding photos next!
