Throughout the planning process they were extremely responsive, clear, and professional. If you've planned an event before, you know how helpful this is! She did reply to me via email the next day which I appreciated and I replied back to hers. I welcomed the opportunity to speak more about my experience however I haven't heard from her. I didn't understand how her response was so prompt before but wasn't after my response. I went onto Instagram to only find out that she blocked me. As the Founder/CEO (who I didn't harass, curse out, or use any derogatory words towards her) to block someone after a complaint especially after stating in her email that "I would have loved to show you a true beautini experience as I would never want you to walk away with a bad taste in your mouth" is shocking, disheartening, and clearly was written with no real follow up. And yes the CEO blocked me because I asked someone else to see if they can click her name under the Beautini bio (which I cannot) and see if they can see the posts (which I cannot). I cannot even click on her website. This action in itself shows me 2 things: 1: The Founder/CEO does not like when a customer is truly honest about services rendered/lack of services by her employees and 2. Beautini is not about fixing the problem (in my case this is true) and would rather say they're sorry and not show they're sorry. Of course not everyone's experience is the same and I do wish Beautini's future customers a better experience than mine (whether at a bridal event or on the wedding day itself.)

With very little direction aside from my request for something "natural" and "dewy," EJ brought out a perfect look that enhanced my natural features and stayed on the whole day! My face had started breaking out the day before my wedding, but no one would have known with how flawlessly EJ covered my skin. She did both my makeup and hair beautifully with the utmost care--all while being incredibly efficient (with her and her assistant finishing makeup for the bride, groom, and two others in only about 3 hours--all happy with the end result). Throughout the wedding, EJ was flexible, patient and attentive, moving her equipment between floors of the venue for touch-ups and fixing people's hair/clothing right before the ceremony. When I had my final touch-ups and a quick hair change before the dinner reception, EJ was again incredibly efficient, finishing her updo and the makeup in only 15-20 minutes so that we could maximize the time spent with our guests (and despite her speed, the updo still lasted me the entire night of dancing without any loose hairs). In my wedding search, I looked far and wide for NYC makeup artists who have experience with Asian brides, and EJ was hands down the most reasonably priced MUA for the experience she brings/quality of service she provides.
