I bought the Groupon and it was super easy to make an appointment with her. I made the appointment with her on a random Saturday afternoon. When I drove up to the location, I was a little confused as my Google maps pointed me to a random apartment. After double checking, I realized the apartment location was correct. There is plenty of street parking around, so I was able to park easily. I was a little early (I did not realize parking was going to be so easy), so I went up to the apartment and rang the doorbell. I did not get a response, so I just waited outside until my appointment time. It was about 5 minutes past my appointment time and I was starting to get concerned that I had the wrong location, but Lisa came out after a few minutes. I realized that she had a client. Not a big deal for me since it was only a few minutes. The inside of Lisa's apartment is sooo cute! So much pink everywhere and super cute accessories in her apartment. During my first appointment, Lisa and I had a discussion about my skin. And, after our discussion, she led me to the room. I loved her facial. It was relaxing and my skin felt so clean after the extractions and microdermabrasion. She was also soothing, letting me know she was doing every step of the way. My facial was about an hour and I left feeling clean and smooth. I also liked the fact that Lisa never pushed me to buy anything or other services. I did ask her about a cleanser and she recommended one to me (again, not being pushy at all). After the facial, she gave me advice on how to keep my skin looking better and I was off to go. She had her own shop in a different state for 16 years before moving out here last year and her experience and passion for her work are evident in interacting with her. She asks you about your current skincare routine and makes recommendations based on your skin type. Her prices are very fair for the quality of service that you get. She doesn't try to upsell anything and is just so friendly and easygoing. You can also communicate with her and make appointments via text which makes life easier. All my friends I saw over the next 48 hours kept commenting on how great my skin looked - when does that happen?? When you have an excellent facialist, apparently. Lisa is also proof of her own abilities - you won't believe how old she is when she tells you. Her skin is flawless. I'm so happy I've found a facialist I can stick with here in LA.
