Can you imagine that they want to style your hair without washing your hair first? Without any clarification. And then ok, lets wash the hair but that was supposed to be done at the regular washing basin and also after they're done with the make up. And that they left you waiting for a half an hour between the make up and hair styling part. Overall, I thought that must have been a joke but that is what happened. In addition, they were searching for a hair dryer which turned out to be one of poor quality. And not to mention that they didn't even comb my hair before drying and that the stylist kept holding hair clips with her teeth. It also took some effort to do a few waves with the curling iron. In addition, each hair wave was sprayed (too) intensively. I left this salon speechless. Also, I needed to redo my make up, because the dark eye shadows were not blended enough. I don't want this to be understood as complaining about two stylists involved. I believe they did the best they could. I wanted to emphasize the low quality of these pricey services. It's hard to believe this is going on in Munich. Who sets the standards in this studio?I've tried many blow hair and wellness studios in different countries but this one I would not really recommend.

My fiancé and I are from the States and took our engagement photos in Munich. I looked to Yelp for…read moresalons around the Marienplatz (city center). I didn't realize a lot of the salons in Munich are closed on Monday's. Luckily, Kryolan is open and I settled on Kryolan for make-up because of the good rating. I emailed Kryolan to make an appointment for make-up only and Saskia emailed me back and let me know she could also do my hair too (score!) so I got both done. I arrived at the appointment early and was greeted with a nice cup of coffee. Saskia saw me almost right away. I can speak a little bit of German and was a bit worried about the language barrier. Saskia could also speak a little bit of English. I think we communicated pretty well. Everything turned out great. I was there for about two hours and got a "natürlicher" make-up look and my hair curled. I usually don't wear much make-up and having foundation on is very rare for me. My make-up looked professionally done but it wasn't too much (which is exactly what I wanted!). The salon was professional and very clean. Saskia even helped me hail a taxi when I was leaving. The hair and make-up came out to be 98€ (before tip) which I thought was fair considering that is probably the amount I would pay at home. Overall, a great experience. If I ever need make-up or hair done again in Munich, I will definitely come back.

Such a wonderful apothecary. I had a cold while traveling and got some medicine in Switzerland. It…read moreworked so well that I decided to get more. I took the bottle in and the woman behind the counter informed me that they did not have the same medicine brand but had one with the same active ingredient. The cost was great, the service was great and she even gave me a free travel pack of tissues. I would definitely recommend this apothecary if you are sick and in Munich.
