He guided me through an awesome shopping experience. A lot of shops I had been visiting in my search to find a board didn't have my desired size of 7.75 or 7:8 since 8+ is the standard nowadays. Derek laid out all the options and walked me through the entire build of a new complete. He went above and beyond in setting me up and I will be coming back because of the excellent customer service and my desire to support the core skate shop industry and culture.

He was more than happy to double check for his size in the back, and showed us even better options when his size wasn't available. He and the other employees made us feel extremely welcomed, and were so fun to talk to. School shopping can be a frustrating experience for the parent and child, but not when you have super rad employees like Anthony. Not to mention a great selection of brands and the buy 3 get one free deal for back to school. Management and owners should know they did a great job hiring amazing people. I looked at various boards and they made some recommendations while being very honest and not putting pressure on me to buy which I really appreciated. I didn't make a purchase then and went back home to do more research. When I went back to the shop, I knew what I wanted and they didn't have it in stock. They happily ordered it all for me and I had everything I wanted in less than a weeks time. They also put it all together at no additional cost. Altogether my setup wasn't cheap but that's because I wanted premium materials. I came back for a skate tool and some pads and will likely be back for some shoes more suitable for skating. The staff were very helpful making sure I was able to find everything I needed. I got two RVCA board shorts and I stopped to look at their watch collection. An associate asked if I'd like to check out a Nixon watch that I asked about. The Msrp was a lil high for me to buy it then, but he asked if I wanted to see if they could get me a discount. Normal Msrp was $425 and they ended up doing $361 for the watch instead which was way better than what I saw for the watch online. They have lots of curated brands for men's clothes and they all are really great. Definitely a nice selection for men's clothes, so I'd recommend stopping by if you need some new threads.
