I love these events! I was so thrilled to have one a set of tickets through Yelp, and decided to bring my Nannie along with me.
The girls at the ticket counter were ultra-efficient and very sweet. I'm sad to say that the gentleman at the door, however, was so unpleasant and unkind that I almost decided to just leave without visiting the event. I will chalk it up to him just having a bad day!
The event itself had an amazing collection of vendors. It seemed that the most popular items are: jewelry, art, children's boutiques, and handmade signs. I was hoping to do a little Christmas shopping, and I usually find a little jem for myself at these events.
My favorite vendors were Confetti sweets (who can resist?!) Rawry and Pohly (artist) and Dallas Larose (artist). There were also several pet boutiques with organic treats and amazing bandanas and bow ties that were adorable!
I didn't find any items that enticed me enough to purchase on this trip, which left me feeling a little sad. However, I can see how there is a huge variety of items for most things you can imagine, and the atmosphere is really exciting and fun!
They also have a little cafeteria at the back of the hall in case you get munchy. I think I would also recommend going on a week day- Saturday made it a bit squishy!
Well done, Edmonton artists! read more
