It was so last minute and so specialized, and initially the owner was not encouraging that it was possible to do. However, as I explained the situation he helped me pick out the design I needed. He was not sure it could be completed in time for graduation, but I received a call a few hours later that it was done! Joan was recommended to me by a friend and I never actually met her until my wedding day, but she immediately felt like an old friend there to enjoy our special day with us. She made me (and my husband, who is camera shy) feel comfortable in front of her camera, which I know isn't always easy. Taking pictures didn't feel like a chore because we spent the whole day laughing (and crying) while taking them. She captured the most special day of my life so beautifully and I will forever cherish those memories. Joan sent us sneak peeks the night of the wedding which of course prompted more tears. She sent a few more teasers along the way and then we had the full gallery within a month of our wedding day. By the time she was done editing there were still 600+ of them and somehow even with that many - each photo told a story.
