The true star here, though, is their hot case. Do yourself a favor and also pick up a dozen tamales ($1.79/ea). Our favorite with the MCJ/jalapeño cheese ones. A close second were the beef. The chicken were merely acceptable by comparison. The best thing, though, was the roasted lamb ribs ($6.99/lb). If you like them extra salty, like a normal human being, ask for a few packets of salt, it truly made the experience. A box of buenelos for dessert and a few cold drinks fueled us up to push to New Mexico.
