We have just become new clients of DAC in recent months. Our former veterinarian retired and highly…read morerecommended Dr. Dawn, and we haven't been disappointed. Our reason for transitioning was due to our dog being ill, and we needed some answers, The diligence, treatment and patience exhibited, especially during Covid, has been phenomenal. Unfortunately, our buddy has cancer, and they continue to be available with caring answers and treatment as needed. We are amazed at how sympathetic they are as well. We were not expecting this to be the journey we would be taking with DAC, but if we have to take it, I am glad it is with them.

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences since becoming a client at Delaware Animal Clinic. Every…read morevisit leaves me feeling well taken care of, educated, and genuinely supported. The team communicates clearly and follows up, which gives me so much peace of mind as a pet owner. I especially want to recognize Reagan at the front desk. Over the past few weeks, while some of the vets were out of town, she consistently followed up, kept me informed, and made sure I understood the next steps in my cat's care. Even when I was feeling emotional, she handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and true compassion -- which meant more than she probably knows. They're now helping coordinate a referral to a dermatologist for my cat's skin and allergy issues, and I'm incredibly grateful for the thorough care throughout this process. I highly recommend Delaware Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a team that truly cares. -Jennie

I don't know why there's people commenting on here saying that this place is expensive. It's…read moreactually not to Main Street they charge way more. All people want nowadays is a free handout so those are probably the ones that are complaining. I've had nothing but kindness from these people their butts off every single day and for somebody to sit here and saying that it's filthy it's actually not. I through the vet clinic and for anyone that does complain it's like why don't you do something to actually help them if you complain so much maybe pick mop and go in the back and try to help them or volunteer you think it looks dirty volunteer there and go help them clean, but there's no need to make false statements about this place I don't appreciate people doing it and I'm sure everybody there doesn't appreciate it either this place is actually very clean. I love everybody at this place and they treat me with such kindness and respect now Main vet they are the ones that are way overpriced. They are the ones in Lumberton. I'm not saying anything bad about the staff in general. They are kind people, but they are way too overpriced so people sit here and make false this you need to do is actually get your before you open your mouth. This place has actually been very informative with me. I have a dog that has cancer right now and I took her down there and they actually did an x-ray and the vet. He was very thorough and he answered all my questions honestly and accurately and I could not be any happier the people that work here are amazing people and those that are complaining. Maybe you should actually take the time to get to know the people and to get to know the clinic and you would actually see that it's not a bad place so don't anybody ever go ever making false statements about this place I love this place. Now to the vet and to the entire staff, I want to say thank you for your kindness for everything that you always do for me and I am completely satisfied with the services that I always receive from there. You guys have been very caring and compassionate throughout the years and I really You guys keep up the good work and God bless all of you and don't listen to the haters they just got nothing better to do with their time. Those are probably the ones that sit on the computer all day but anyway enough about people starting drama, you guys are amazing.

My sweet male cat suffered a complete urinary blockage and needed an emergency procedure to clear…read morethe blockage and had to be hospitalized for several days. I expected a crazy vet bill but they were very fair with the pricing and made sure they kept my budget in mind. They saved my cat's life and kept some money in my pocket, couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Staff were amazing and I felt comfortable with my baby in their care. Doctor McMillan was a god send she kept checking in on my cat after I took him home to make sure he was recovering well.

I NEVER thought I would be writing this type of review, but here we are. The first problem I ran…read moreinto was lack of communication. I've been dealing with this vet since I was in middle school, I am now in my late twenties; I've NEVER had any problems previously... so for me to get to the point of having to relocate my fur baby to a different veterinarian, is HIGHLY disappointing. My contact information has been the same - I would get reminder emails all the time. At some point the emails stopped, but I took it as my baby wasn't due for any shots. After a while, the length of time became concerning so I contacted the office. I find out she's overdue for shots; they have my email, never attempted to contact. I gave them my new phone number the last time my baby had shots... they never updated the number. An easy fix though, so I didn't make an issue of it. When I got her in for her appointment, I let the young lady at the front desk know about my fur baby having frequent loose bowel movements & vomiting. We still cannot go to the back with the vet to see what's going on, so I had to trust that my message was properly relayed. When my baby was returned to me, it was said everything was fine, whatever "everything" is. They also sent her some medicine mixed with water for her to take. (Quick side note - my baby has been 6 pounds for YEARS; that is her final adult weight, she has been that weight for EVERY visit since about 2017). After giving it some time, I STILL seen that my baby was feeble, as well as still having consistent loose bowel movements AND vomiting; so I called & left a voicemail on last Friday. It is now Monday (2|13) & I hadn't heard anything back. I took it upon myself to call on my lunch break. The lady I spoke with, gave me one hell of an experience. When I expressed to her what happened & how my baby is STILL sick, she tells me that when the vet took a fecal sample, she didn't have diarrhea... since when does diarrhea momentarily stopping, mean it doesn't exist? I also asked her, what my baby weighed her last visit, since everything is "fine"? She gets quiet, then lowly says "5.3 pounds"... so I proceed to tell her how "my baby has NEVER weighed under 6 pounds, & you would think the fact that her weight has dropped, would be some type of cause for concern" her response to me is "ma'am that's not even 1 pound"... so what?! Every problem starts small. I've given ALL these symptoms, on top of you all seeing the drop in her weight, and still nobody is concerned? During this conversation, she constantly called my baby a "he", if you have my information pulled up from the system, you see my baby is a female, why do you keep referring to her as a "he"? So when I finally told her my dog is a "she" she goes on to say "she, he, YOUR DOG, didn't have diarrhea when the doctor took a sample". I've never spoken to someone sooo insensitive like this before in my life! I've been coming here for YEARS, I have a STRONG emotional attachment to my baby; so for her to HEAR the frustration & hurt in my voice, AND disregard my concerns about my baby's health when I put my money & trust for my baby's life into this business, is ABSURD. You'd think that once all other options have been cancelled out, they'd run further tests or do further examining if I'm telling them she's WEAK, if I'm telling them I can feel her bones, if I'm telling them she's throwing up & has diarrhea. Who thinks that since a dog isn't throwing up or having diarrhea in the moment, that everything is fine if they've consistently been sick? I am DISGUSTED with the lack of sympathy from the staff at this establishment. I will NEVER bring my baby back here ever again! I pray they didn't miss anything detrimental that'll put my baby's life at risk.
