The winery has a comprehensive selection of wines from several parts of the world but what really stands out is their selection of wines from Germany, the selection of Riesling is one of the best I have seen anywhere outside Germany. The Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) selection was also really great. Exciting also with a selection of German sparkling wines - have not tried it yet but will be interesting to try. In addition to that they also have some interesting grower champagnes as well as a good selection of other French wines and a smaller but still good selection of Spainish, Italian and California wines. The staff are really helpful and we got a lot of interesting information. Also offered some nice tasters of wines. They also do tasting evenings now and then. The atmosphere of the places is also very cosy, a little bit of an old English library feel to it and they also have a fire place adding to the atmosphere. Really like the place and will be back whenever in search of some German wine (and also for some other stuff). One of the top places for wine in London.

The store manager, Nicolas, and his team organise tastings almost every week on the weekends. This is a chain store but the people working here actually seem to know something about wine. This store has been around for 182 years so they have had time to perfect their system. Originally a French wine shop whose claim to fame is being the first to sell wine by the bottle and not by the volume. They have the largest wine bottles I have ever seen at 150cl. They are a great gift for a father-in-law by the way. They also have decanters for special dinners, glasses, spirits, champaign, red, white and rose wines. Their prices range from affordable £5 for a drinkable bottle to very old and very expensive.
