My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite after a trip to the Préfecture. What a delightful…read morefind. As is usually the case here in France, there was a wonderful assortment of the usual pastries and bread - baguettes, croissants, eclairs, etc. Hubby really enjoyed his eclair. However, what makes this a standout are the macarons. There have about a dozen different types. We bought chocolate, pistachio, raspberry, creme brûlée, and cassis. All were well-made - crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. My favorites are cassis (simultaneously tart and sweet) and the creme brûlée, which was filled with a yummy buttercream. I am thankful that this is not near my house. I would put on 10 pounds in a week scarfing these down. A must visit in Toulouse.

Macaroons are yummy. Hard not to over buy. Seemed pricey but not sure if that's the market rate.read more

I came here to grab food-to-go so that we didn't starve on a drive from Toulouse to Bordeaux, and…read morethis place was good. They were fast, had a decent selection of prepared sandwiches (2 types of ham, BBQ chicken, tuna), and baked goods / pastries. It looked like they were making everything fresh in the back, which was nice because I had just gone to a different bakery earlier in the day, where I saw them pulling pastries out of a box (so I presume they weren't making them in house) The sandwich I had was solid with fresh bread, ham, cheese, some lettuce and tomato. It wasn't necessarily mind-blowing, but was good and we were hungry. We also got a chocolate eclair which was also good but was a little bit confused that there was almost like a chocolate-mousse for the filling instead of a vanilla custard/filling. Delicious, but not sure I'd be hankering to get this particular dessert again. I'd come back here again to try more things, but don't think I'd make a special trip out of my way to come here over and over.

Best bakery in Toulouse…read more Francois Xavier - this guy can really bake. I mean seriously. I've had a lot of baked goods in France, but this place is just bomb. Take a look at the pics on the site - these are airbrushed; they're the real thing! Amazingly, they also carry some damn good, fresh & hot chocolate chip cookies, as well as glazed donuts. I just gotta get back there and hit up some of those pain au chocolat though!

I used the yelp app but had to wander the area for a bit before finding it sutuated under the Saint Georges Espace on the Occitana Place. The coffee is lovely but the outside seating is not great as you can be surrounded by skateboarders who are practicing their tricks and the odd motorbike driving past. Not the cafe's fault but not the most relaxing. Wifi is secured and good.
