That was about 7 years ago and I've been coming here every ear since. They can evaluate your eyes better than an optometrist in my opinion. This clinic is somewhat geared towards children but I don't think they will turn away adults. One caution would be that they typically use your medical insurance instead of your eye care insurance. So, you may want to check on that if having everything covered under insurance is a high priority. I know when I'm here my eyes are in good hands. Enjoy!

I find myself gravitating to this location every time I need glasses. The customer service here has always been....well...the best it COULD be. Other than a couple of people I've seen there long term, they seem to go through quite a bit of new employees which can unfortunately slow things down in addition to their quite old and slow computers. Other than that, they are always very cordial and attentive. I do also wish the glasses were a little more organized last time I went. I suppose every store does it differently and while the brands were mostly grouped together, the expensive brands and cheaper brands weren't really organized in an efficient way (cheapest to priciest for example) which kind of made my search for frames a bit frazzled. I can understand some of the gripes of the 1 star reviews....last year it took me an hour just to pick up an order...one of the employees seemed quite lost. It was super busy and packed that day. My most recent visit was only me at the appointment and only me for pickup so everything was quick. Overall I'd say Eyewear Express is the better store if it accepts your insurance (doesn't take mine, boo)...but this store gets the job done too.

I was given an eye exam and was supposed to be fitted for contacts for presbyopia. I told the technician what worked before and asked to try those contacts. After waiting for them to come in, I was given the wrong contacts. When I called to let them know what the problem was, they ordered new contacts which were also wrong. The problem seems to be that the "technicians" are uneducated on what they are doing so I paid the price. I asked for a refund on the contact exam since they did not do it properly and prescribe the correct lenses, but they refused. I would definitely recommend staying away from this place.

I was happy just to get to pick up one pair after almost a month. She told me my mom's second pair of glasses will be mail to my house tomorrow. I left to go on vacation, came home after a week, still no glasses. Brought my mom to the store AGAIN to see if they have it and also let them refit the new pair she just got because it loosens. Had to waited again, I walked in and told them what we were there for, waited but then told us later they can't do it because their lab manager is not there. They could have told us in the beginning so we didn't have to wait. There are just so many things going on at this place and they can't get nothing done for you. If you get your eye examed, you won't get your prescription glasses in less than a month. And it is medical problem. They can't make patients wait for their glasses for that long. It's unfortunate that I am writing this review. I have heard great things about Dr. Swan but I…read morewon't be able to experience his talents for myself. I was referred over to this office by my optometrist. When they called me to schedule an appointment, I asked them to hold while I opened up my Microsoft Outlook calendar to make sure I would be in town. As I confirmed the date I made an entry into my calendar. As with any appt I received a call to remind me of the appointment. Working out of town I sent the call to VM knowing it was a reminder of the upcoming appt. A few days later while clearing out my VM's I came across the reminder message for Dr. Swan and was shocked when the receptionist leaving the VM had a different date than me for my appt. I quickly called to let the office know my appt was not until the following Monday. The office manager informed me I clearly made a mistake and my appt was in fact that day and if I wanted to reschedule I could, but, I'd have to pay a $50 fee, followed up with a boldly comment of, "will you be putting this charge on a credit card?" Completely shocked I told her I did not owe their office any fees as I wasn't yet a patient nor did I sign any forms acknowledging their office policies. I followed up by saying, " if you won't allow me to keep my date then I guess I'll be forced to find another doctor." Detecting strong attitude, I decided to hang up. Within a minutes another lady called me back asking if I would like to reschedule, I responded with absolutely, but I'm not paying a fee for the date discrepancy because I strongly feel the scheduling agent was at fault. I could hear the original lady I had previously spoken with whispering in the background telling this lady what to say. This was beyond tacky, really unprofessional, especially for a medical provider of this caliber. Today my wife informed me I received a bill in the mail for 50$? I'm blown away by the tenacity and arrogance. I've decided that if this is turned over to a collection agency, I'm not dealing with this office staff, I will hand this over to my attorney, at this point these actions push the envelope on both extortion and harassment.
