This is a review for Superior Painting and Remodeling located in Lawrenceburg, TN…read more Tony and his crew at Superior Painting & Remodeling did a fantastic job with remodeling my home. The remodel involved a total bathroom remodel, renovating and updating the kitchen, building and modifying closets throughout the house, new exterior and interior doors, painting all rooms inside, and refinishing the wood floors in the downstairs area. We have been back in our home for 3 months and are still happy and excited with the changes made to our home. We have absolutely no regrets working with Tony and his team. There are other projects that I am planning to do in the future and I will be calling the team at Superior Painting & Remodeling to work with them again.

We were recommended by our realtor to hire Dwayne Marsh due to his quality of work and his…read moreexperience flipping houses all over the country, including Hawaii. Dwayne and I chatted on the phone and worked out the general scope of work. I warned him that I would be scope creeping as our project evolved. Day one, he arrived on time. He came well prepared with all the proper tools and a trailer if needed to pick up things from Home Depot, etc. His trailer has also come in handy to Holloway packaging and such from our projects. He also had a plan and an order of how to tackle the project that made sense with weather and time. He got the original scope knocked out in less than two days, but he was able to come back to complete our evolving project line items. During our project, we did have additional projects within projects pop up, and he handled them with a smile. Dwayne is honestly one of the nicest human beings I've ever met, and his skills in ingenuity as a handyman. Everything Dwayne touches looks and functions better than it did before and I would definitely hire him to come back. In fact, we will be hiring him to come back because we will no doubt be in need of his services in the future. Luckily I got the recommendation to call Jeff, and immediately after talking to him just a few seconds I could tell he was the person for the job b/c I had to describe very little in relation to what I was wanting them to repair. He at first mentioned he had a job so it may take 4 days before he could come out, but two days later he was able to move me up so it only took him 3 days to get to me. I also REALLY appreciate how responsive he was to my text messages. I wasn't present to observe the actual work, but my mother said he was very professional. Good deal overall and excellent work! Highly recommended plumber!

They sent General Aire out and they did some work, but said they needed to come back to finish the job due to needing to order a part. Mid-summer they called my wife and announced they needed $1,400 for freon replacement in preparation for the new coil they had ordered. My wife paid it (mistake #2), then nothing happened--no one called with the part, no one even acknowledged we had paid $1,400. I began calling Cinch to ask WTF in October 2024. Still waiting on a part (they claimed it had to be custom made). They finally came out late in the year and replaced the part after I again made a stink with the home warranty company. Fast forward to early April 2025 and the upstairs is not cooling. The job has a six-month warranty on it, but am I calling General Aire (would be mistake #3...)? Nooooo, I'm calling the original installer. They send a tech out and he quickly determines the problem--$1,400 worth of freon leaked out over time due to the General Aire tech FAILING TO TIGHTEN A BOLT PROPERLY. Of course he had to recharge the unit with four pounds of new freon, but somehow, the cost of freon at this reputable dealer is a lot less than General Aire--I only had to pay $520 for that. General Aire is an absolute disaster. The lady answering the phones is constantly trying to convince you to go with Old Republic Home Warranty over whatever company you currently use (must be getting some sweet kickbacks). Their techs were slovenly and obviously incompetent. Communication is abhorrent. Ditch the home warranties. They send out speds like General Aire to work on your appliances. Go with the reputable techs instead.

He left and went to pick it up, came back and worked for 4 hours installing and checking everything related to HVAC. We have two units and he thoroughly cleaned both of them, checked every item very thoroughly. He even went up inside the hot attic and checked both units up there--heating and cooling. We could not be more pleased with his work. Meanwhile he/we hassled with Select warranty while they lied about diagnosis and refuse to cover any of the cost!!! We very highly recommend General Aire for all HVAC needs. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I'd give Select Warranty a negative 10 if I could. Please don't let them con you into a policy with them.
