I have some amazing photos and incredible memories. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue is because of the event coordinator Elaine. She is their best asset. She helped us plan every detail. She offered suggestions and advice as we needed if. She was always available and prompt with responses. She stayed from the time the girls arrived to get ready until late at night until everyone had their last drink. She made sure our night went perfect. We knew once we met Elaine we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She is wonderful. The rest of the staff the worked at the event were excellent. They were fun, engaging, polite and friendly. They led the electric slide during some dancing. They also worked incredibly hard while they were chatting with us and all of our guests. They were always asking can I get you anything. They all went above and beyond during the entire night. The food was great. We had lunch while getting ready. It had sandwhiches cheese fruit chips and drinks. This was just the fuel we needed before a busy day ahead. Lori even came in to greet us and ask how everything was going and made sure we had everything we needed. During our cocktail hour we chose some apps that were yummy and perfect for while people were mingling. The meatballs and spring rolls were excellent. The cheese and olive tray with fruit and cheese were great The meal we chose was buffet style with steak tips, teriyaki chicken, carrots, mashed potato and dinner rolls. The salad was served at each table. The food was great lots of flavor and served hot. This is a fabulous location with so much to offer. Everyone there is wonderful. A winter wedding is hard to plan, celebrating Maine's finest. Laura's catering is a one stop shop. Our party was small, comparatively, 48 guests. A perfect menu, perfect venue, perfect bar service. The table settings were gorgeous. Communication was great. All of her staff were lovely, easy to work with and FUN! From the raw bar to the wedding cake, everything was exactly what we wanted and more. We got wonderful feedback from the guests on the whole event, especially her emphasis on procuring locally sourced food, and how beautiful the venue was with her table settings and arrangement of the space. Showed up to the venue to set up for a wedding. It was 54° outside and windy and the front and back…read morebarn doors were wide open. There is no heat in the barn. She actually asked if we were still going to have the wedding outside. Setting up for a wedding inside with an aisle was a challenge with uneven floors, there were lips where different sections met, and posts. We had to ask guests to take the chairs they were sitting in and bring them to the tables. Side doors kept getting "magically " opened and latched to a chain so they wouldn't shut, letting in more cold air. We had to put cardboard in windows by the bar because there were missing panes of glass. We put the food on the bar, which was a mistake because there was an open pipe you could hear sewage running through. Most guests felt harassed by the owner. She got angry at someone for parking in the handicap spot despite having a placard. We were told we couldn't smoke on the property even though there were no signs. When she was informed legally she needed signs, she went and made handwritten No Smoking signs. And we were smoking on the side of the road, it wasn't even on the property. People left early because it was so cold. She locked the doors so a guest couldn't get back in and it took 5 minutes to realize she was out there. What should have been a beautiful day was miserable for everyone. I wish I could get my money back. $250 an hour was not worth it. And that was a special discount. I cannot express the severe disappointment and aggravation on what should have been a beautiful, memorable day. If it wasn't for Elevation Station, I would never step foot on that property again. I also heard from a fire inspector there were code violations. So probably not safe either. Good luck if you try having an event there.

Friends of ours wanted to play some pool after we had dinner nearby at Lucky Garden, so we did exactly that. It was a slow night and no one was waiting for the table, so we played about 4 or 5 games and had a lovely time. The decor is awesome, the bar is clean, and the staff were friendly. I've always had a good time here, and I enjoy the artwork too!

We also asked for an exchange of quarters and the bartender/staff rudely said "no" because he was "annoyed at the other customers". This is completely unacceptable and for this place to have a 4.9 review doesn't make sense.
