The bar is cute, the staircase lends a regal air & best of all there is art to look at while you drink your wine. While there are prints and photographs of Solomons, this is not tourist art, but real art. Carmen has another gallery in New Orleans. Check out her website at carmensgallery.com. Carmen is a terrific saleswoman, and the two cats are worth a visit. In addition to paintings, prints, and photographs, there is a very nice collection of jewelry. The owner, or at least who I presume was the owner, was very welcoming and conversational. I already can't wait to go back . . . and it seriously might be tomorrow!

I was immediately greeted upon entering and welcomed to look around as long as I like. They even have a section with crayons, toys, little chairs and snacks for little ones. They actually encourage you to let your little one roam free- I was way too nervous for this. It was a very relaxed atmosphere- classical music played softly in the background. Also, there were no chemical odors although there was framing taking place. Although the store appears small, there was a plethora of frames to select for a variety of photographs, prints, oils and watercolor paintings to choose from. I will definitely be back.

Some of the artists who's work was on display was Jill Basham, Ted Morlock and Beth Bathe. There is a wide range of different types of art including some of the most beautiful wood art ever. This is a wonderful find in Easton! Aside from many choices in original art (many by local…read moreartists), the customer service is excellent. I took a large acrylic on canvas painting there that had begun rippling slightly down each side. Their framer re-stretched it for a modest cost, and I'm very pleased with its appearance now. Peg and Laura were great to work with, and I highly recommend this gallery.
