My review is strictly with the owner/homeopathic doctor, Dr Krueger. I have never seen her as a…read morepatient. I come to the clinic for Massage and Chiropractor appointments and these clinicians are amazing. The problem is Dr Krueger ruins your appointment with them by stomping up and down the halls in her unbusinesslike shoes (for this type of office) and her louder than the average cheerleader voice, completely oblivious or too obtuse to care about any other patients than her own. I have been going to the clinic for about 10 years and in the last few years she has ruined every single massage appointment I have had by her indifferent, uncaring ways. Today was over the top when a family of what I can only guess were "out of control" toddlers visiting her ran up and down the hallways yelling and screaming. Completely ruining what was an otherwise incredible treatment from the most amazing RMT. It is unfortunate that because she is the owner, no one can hold her to account for her unprofessional manners. I wish I could give a separate review of the professionals who work there as they all seem to be very good at what they do.

First, the receptionist was nice enough to accept me at the last minute, only 40 minutes before closing time knowing that she would have to stay after her usual closing time (I was a first-time customer). I had a slightly displaced rib that was causing me pain and restricting my breathing. It was turned into an emergency because I had to leave Canada to visit my family for two weeks! The chiropractor was not there but the massage therapist said she would try her best to massage and stretch the rib back in place. I was impressed that after a very relaxing and efficient 45-minute massage I felt no more pain and my rib was back in place! She is very cautious about not hurting you when massaging and has a very calm and focused attitude. I only wish they were a little cheaper or a least make my $20 reimbursement procedures easier. I ended up paying $75 from my own pocket and still don't know when I will get my $20 back from my MSP.

It was ok with me. I was surprised when she told we are done after 15 minutes of acupuncture and 15 minutes of massage. Front desk girl pointed Janet that it was 1 hour. She said fine, give her $10 discount (for a half session, oh well) and left to treat another patient! I asked to call Janet back and told you that's not right, I am not going to agree with such a "deal". She asked if I have an insurance on file, I didn't. Janet started talking about "15 minutes cleaning ", but it wasn't said anywhere that cleaning is included in fee. Her next argument was that I stopped the treatment, I said no, I just asked to remove needles and continue with massage. Then, the doctor suggested me to go back and continue massage for half an hour, I refused. After all her tricks, she said: leave if you don't wanna pay. Such a wonderful customer service Janet! Lovely. Nevertheless, I paid half a price. Really disappointed because heard a lot of good reviews. My partner also had a good experience. Very very sad, I've been waiting for this appointment for 1 month! Janet, how could you? The saddest part is that my partner and I wanted to go to naturopath and chiropractor doctors. We are able to invest our $$$ and good attitude to the clinic. We liked its website and google reviews as we are new to the area and we follow recommendations online. After trying for 2 days to get somebody to pick up the phone here I was finally able to speak with the receptionist to confirm that they did gift certificates and would be open until 7:00pm. (On Valentine's Day) I pulled up to the door just before 6:30pm only to find it locked with nobody in sight. I waited a couple of minutes and a man (RMT Allan Portelance according to their website) reluctantly came to the door to see what I needed. I very excitedly told him that I was there to pick up a gift certificate for a one hour RMT massage for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. He said there was nothing he could do because the receptionist had left and he "didn't deal with that stuff" I was a bit taken back and told him again that it was for a Valentine's Day gift and that the sign next to us on the door, as well as the confirmation from the receptionist earlier in the day stated that they were open for another full 30 minutes. Allan again said there was nothing he could do and shut the door on me walking away. I understand that customer service seems to be a bit of a lost art these days, but this place is clearly lacking in professionalism and good business practices as well. I would not recommend going here if you want a good experience.

Only AFTER the family session would you finally get treated so that would be three sessions until they start working on you. It was my first chiropractor experience and upon discussion with others, it seemed like this approach is specific to the clinic and not all chiropractors. For someone who was in pain and wanted immediate attention as opposed to waiting three sessions before getting treatment, their approach was not what I was looking for.

I feel very fortunate to have found this clinic and Dr. Alfredo after my previous chiropractor retired. I have been to several chiropractors over three decades, and Dr. Alfredo stands out as the best of all of them! He is an excellent chiropractor with a high level of skill and professionalism, and he immediately understood my condition and the precise amount of adjusting force required to correct it. Other practitioners have tended to use too much force when adjusting my small frame the first time, often leaving me quite sore, but I am very happy with the treatments I have received from Dr. Alfredo, which we very comfortable and have completely alleviated my symptoms. One of the best things about this practice is the fact that they have the ability to do x-rays in the office, which is unusual in my experience, and greatly appreciated, because it saved me a trip to get the x-rays done at another facility. I also find their fees to be quite reasonable. The only downside to the would be the cost of parking at the Bentall Centre, which can be a few dollars to over $15 depending on the length of the appointment. It would be nice if parking validations or at least a discount of some sort were provided for those patients for whom parking costs would be a burden.
