I was shopping for a self proclaimed maximalist who loves vintage everything, and Farm Antiques was a unique stop. Beverly, the amazing 92 year old who runs the shop, is a treasure and a sweetheart. She knows her merchandise inside and out and is a wonderful storyteller. The shop is attached to her farm, that she brought her kids up on and still resides in and she has some remarkable frames and vintage artwork, plus some unique finds and local artwork and embroidery, that make it worth a browse. As me and my husband of color first entered your shop you quickly ended your phone call, approached us, Rudely asked if you can help us find anything after my husband replied " no Thank You we are Just taking a look" you stood behind us (uncomfortably not saying a word), followed us through the shop Watching from every corner (Not to mention there where others in the shop not of color that you payed no attention too.) I could not believe that someone could still act this way after everything going on in our world today. We are always looking forward to finding old beautiful things for our home as we travel many shops around Oregon and have always been treated with kindness & respect. We are kind hearted people and always ready to give a hand.
