When is the Medford City Council going to address the safety concerns and the noise pollution emanating from our city streets? Day or night vehicles roar up and down the streets with wild abandon not caring about public safety. I am so disappointed that the Mail Tribune will no longer have a paper version. As an older reader, it is a definite loss.

The Mail Tribune customers and Target demographic are all above 80 years old yet they can't get a delivery driver to deliver the paper on time or not throw it under a bush or in the street on rainy days. When I call them to tell them about it they just say that our drivers are subcontracted so they don't have to get out of the car. Pretty soon they're not going to have any customers left because they will all be dead of old age and if I have it my way they won't have any customers left before then because they are unreliable. My great-grandfather is 94 years old and is up at 5 waiting for the paper every day, sometimes it comes at 6 on the weekends but it is now after 7 and there is still no paper yet again. And to top it off they making impossible to reach any customer service unless it's 9 to 5 on the weekdays even though their paper is supposed to be delivered on the weekends. So that way when they screw up which happens a lot, you can't call and complain to them. They did that because they get a lot of complaints. Like a lot of complaints. I've called him many times and keep getting the same stupid excuses and if my grandfather didn't insist on getting the paper every morning I would have told them to shove it up their ass many many times. I still had to buy a paper from the minute market today because they failed once more. If we weren't here to help my grandfather he would be in a world of trouble because Mail Tribune is the most unreliable business I think I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. I'm not sure if it's possible to give zero stars but that is what I'm doing. p.s. he has a newspaper holder under his mailbox because he is old. That is where the paper used to be delivered to many years ago but now that they're getting lazy and cheap they're subcontracted drivers just toss it as they drive by... And they are not skilled throwers get it in the driveway. I don't understand how a 12 year old kid on a bike can do better than adults with vehicles but it seems to be the way it is. Maybe go back two reliable kids on bikes instead of lazy entitled adults that can't get a real job or even do this simple task right.. p.p.s. if anybody knows if it is possible to sue the Mail Tribune if my great-grandfather Falls trying to pick the paper up out of the street please let me know. Tom Sabens, an extremely well-known pastor in the Rogue Valley, yet the Medford Mail Tribune miss-spelled his name in the obituary "Tim" as opposed to "Tom." In addition, their delivery of the paper is very poor, we often find ours thrown under my pickup (centered underneath). Finally, the Medford Mail Tribune is a politically biased newspaper favoring nearly everything far left. Save your money -- don't subscribe. Terrible service! I was approached at an event to subscribe. I said no, that we didn't have a paper box (& I didn't want to install one at the end of our drive; my neighbors have roadside boxes so I knew it was the only way ) & we lived far back off the road behind other houses. I was told, "no problem, this carrier will drive back there & del to your porch". I asked him twice because this didn't seem right, he said it was fine, & also I would receive this Sunday's paper (I subscribed on Fri Dec 1 2017)..He even put a sticky note on my application saying "del to house". As of Tues no paper. I called, was told I wasn't even in the system yet, & that no guarantees the carrier would del to my house. I was added into their system at that time. Now it's Thurs Dec 7, STILL no paper... I called & canceled & demanded full refund. read more

NEVER AGAIN Remember, we subscribed to the paper for Friday, Saturday & Sunday only and for 13 weeks (see previous post) I have received several 'Renewal Notice's' from the paper. 1st one, dated 30 Nov 15, showing the subscription period as 4 weeks 2nd one, 14 Dec 15, same period 3rd one, 11 Dec 15, same period I called and cancelled the subscription AFTER the subscription period Received 4th notice dated 18 Jan 16, same period. December 21, 2019. Apparently Mail Tribune's presses are shut down, out of order. That can be the only reason for not receiving a paper, despite calling to report no paper delivery at our location. They promised to bring a paper, but nothing! The only conclusion is their presses are out of order. Well, there is one other option, but it would be impossible: they could simply blow off their customers as not important to their business. So, which is it? Do they have an equipment problem or a managerial problem? Is it that they can't get their equipment to operate? Or do they simply not care about their customers? Either choice is a reflection of a more serious problem - inept management. read more

If there was a minus rated the Mail Tribune would get it. Terrible delivery and worse customer service. If you have a problem with delivery you can try calling their number but be aware that no matter what message you leave you will not get a call back. If you somehow get in touch with someone in circulation you will get a major attitude. They come across as though it's all your fault. read more
