There is a Giant Gap between someone that has a Real Estate License and someone that knows how to…read moreSell Real Estate in a Buyers Market when nothing is selling and there are ton's of properties for sale. It's very easy to get a Real Estate License but 90% of people holding a license really have no business in the Real Estate Industry--let me tell you. The Folan's have Real Estate in their blood. Their mom was an accomplished Broker that taught them how to sell. I wish I was born into their family. When I needed to sell a condo in NYC during a recession, there were no buyers and tons of distressed properties on the market. Most people told me not to sell--wait a few years--but I wasn't living in it and the monthly carrying charges were eating me alive! Before finding the Folans I hired (and fired) two other Agencies in Queens that did not know the first thing about how to sell a property! They let my condo languish for months telling me that there are no buyers--it's the wrong time! Then I spoke to a lawyer friend of mine in Manhattan--and he told me the only people in Queens that are going to be able to sell a condo right now are the Folans. To which I responded: "What are the Folans!?" "I need a Realtor I said--not a Band!" So I contacted them, and they just know how to find a buyer--they just have a way of doing it that is time tested--and my condo was sold within 2 months--they had 2 Buyers competing--after fussing with 2 other Agencies that promised me the world for 8 months that brought me nothing! And even better--they recommended a crack lawyer to do the closing. This guy was the best! So if you ask me--if I was selling a property in Queens--I would come here. Or you can go to any other agency in Queens if you really don't want to sell your property but just want to pretend it's for sale. Now I just want to say one last thing--while these ladies look good--you see their picture--they are as tough as nails and probably eat raw meat for dinner. I don't think you are going to get that touchy-feely service here--I did not feel that warm welcoming attitude that I usually look for--nor did I think they wanted any more business from me in the future--but you will get that focused attention to sell your property from professionals that live and breath this stuff.

Since 2022 I have been contacting this realty estate company about concerning trees and ivy growth. I have contacted this company numerous times about ivy growth coming through and killing my fence. With that complaint I have also made them aware of ivy growth on the trees along our property line. The trees are engulfed in ivy that you can even see the trees. The ivy is killing limbs that are dropping in my yard. The major concern is a massive tree that leans more and more every year. In the direction it's leaning it will take out my entire fence, thousands of dollars worth of arborvitae's, my gazebo and outdoor entertainment area with an outdoor kitchen. I have spent my own money to have the limbs cut at the fenceline but even with that I still get dead limbs and leaves dropping in my yard. I do not typically write negative reviews, as I strongly believe in giving individuals and…read morebusinesses the benefit of the doubt. However, the experience I encountered during a recent property viewing was so concerning that I feel obligated to share it for the benefit of prospective clients. My partner and I were searching for our third home and had spent the day attending several open houses. This property was our final stop. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait outside because only one party was permitted inside at a time, which we completely understood and respected. When it was our turn to enter, the agent opened the door and immediately instructed us, in a demanding tone, to come inside quickly. At the time, I assumed this urgency was related to preventing a cat inside the home from escaping and did not think much of it. The situation escalated when I proceeded to sign the visitor registration form. The form provided options for either a phone number or an email address. I entered my email address, as that is my preferred method of contact. The agent then demanded that I provide my phone number instead. I politely explained that I had already provided my email address and preferred not to share my phone number. Without provocation, the agent became visibly agitated and began yelling, stating that this was "not how it works" and that I either had to provide my phone number or leave the property. Despite my calm explanation that the form itself allowed for an email address, he continued raising his voice and threatened to call the police if we did not comply. He then took out his phone and stated that he would go outside and photograph our vehicle license plates. What occurred next was the most troubling part of the encounter. The agent physically placed his hands on me and began pushing me toward the exit. I immediately instructed him to remove his hands and made it clear that physical contact was unacceptable. Despite this, he continued yelling and escalating the situation. At that point, I considered contacting law enforcement due to the unwanted physical contact. However, my partner and I ultimately chose to leave rather than further escalate the incident. This entire situation arose solely because I exercised my preference to provide an email address rather than a phone number on a registration form that expressly allowed for that option. There was no justification for the verbal hostility, threats, or physical contact that followed. As a result of this incident, I am evaluating my legal options regarding the physical altercation. Fortunately, I have a recording documenting the interaction. I encourage prospective clients to exercise caution when dealing with this agent. While this review reflects my personal experience, interactions of this nature inevitably impact perceptions of the agency he represents as well. Professionalism, respect, and personal safety should be expected standards in any client interaction, and regrettably, those standards were not met during this encounter.
