There was some minor damages that could have been prevented with a bit more care. The people who actually did the work were courteous and helpful. The less than excellent rating is because of the manner in which the company conducted its business with us. A company representative went to the trailer's locatation and looked at it ahead of time (and I assume observed its size) but no one ever set foot on the property where the trailer was to be delivered until they arrived with the trailer. Concerns about this to the company before the move went unanswered. On the day of the move there was a delay due to the company not having obtained the proper permits prior to that day. Then the company informs us that because of the traler's size, a police escort will be needed. Then they added $1500 to the price. I suppose it is possible that LSP charges that much to provide an escort, but I doubt it. We had to loan them a chainsaw to help clear the path on the property. We also had to scrounge some additional cinder block to complete the install even though many blocks were left at the site where the trailer came from. All in all it could have been better. But at least they provided the service in a timely manner.

On Monday August 5, 2024 at approximately 4:26pm I called Mr CJ and we spoke for exactly 11…read moreminutes. During this call I informed him who referred him and that I believed my hot water heater needed replacing and what he would charge me. He informed me he could get a cheaper heater at a well known hardware store than the parts house that referred him. He informed me it would cost $275 for him to replace the hot water heater. He said he would be there in the morning. Shortly after 11am on August 6, 2024 Mr. CJ and one of his employees arrived at my home and stayed stopped on the road for several minutes until I walked outside and asked if I could help them. He asked if I was the one who needed a water heater replaced, I said yes, come on. Mr CJ and his employee followed me through the rear gate and I showed them where the access panel was to my hot water heater. During this time Mr CJ employee lit a cigarette and Mr CJ saq there was no water in the drain pain. No leak... He and I spoke about what could be wrong if the tank wasn't leaking water. He asked the issues I was struggling with and once his employee (who had walked back to the truck to get a hose to prepare to drain the tank) was back and done with his cigarette they entered my home and I led them to my breaker box. It was then said the breaker was bad because immediately on resetting the breaker, it tripped back, but when held in position, the tank began trying to heat and hot water was coming out of the kitchen sink. Less than an hour later (and after a 30 minute to and from trip drive into town for a breaker) my hot water heater was "fixed" for a $275 plus the part of the breaker. $298.18 is what I was charged for less than an hour. Upon my waking on August 7, 2024 the breaker for the hot water heater was tripped again. Later that day, when I had a moment, I removed the upper and lower access panels to the water heater. The lower access panel had extreme corrosion that had been there for some time. It was also full of water, to the edge of the lower panel of the water heater. It also appeared that the wires had sparked at some point because the insulation was charred in a few spots. The level of corrosion that was on the elements and thermostat did not happen overnight. The water had access to them for some time. I contacted Mr CJ via text and explained what I'd found, and sent photos, and asked him to come complete the job he'd been paid to do. I alerted him to my beliefs that if he'd properly diagnosed the issue the first time, there would be no need for a second service call fee. He responded if he were to send his guys out again, there would be another service call fee ($275 according to the invoice I got the day before) because he did his job, there was no prior leak, and i had hot water when he left, and any time he goes out, he gets paid a service call fee. At that point, I chose to not try to communicate any further, it was clear he was unwilling to finish the job he was originally called out to complete and PAID FOR.
