My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Shannon and Lauren McGuire! They are a dynamic duo who helped capture all the beautiful, fun moments of our wedding day. We were super lucky to have booked Once Upon a Click in their beginning stages of success and got a great deal for photography plus bridal hair and makeup by Lauren. We could tell that they are very conscientious and experienced with the whole process of wedding photography, from the moment we had a Skype chat to meet them, to the days leading up to the wedding when we suddenly had a lot of questions for them. On the day of, they arrived on time, completely prepared and ready to direct our large wedding party. They made us look GOOD and had lots of creative shot ideas. Oh and within 24 hours of the wedding, the McGuires delivered a "preview" set of gorgeously edited photos for us and our family/friends to enjoy. They have been so much fun to share and everyone who has seen them has been very impressed with how perfect each photo is. P.S. Lauren is no longer doing bridal hair and makeup in order to focus on just the photography aspect of the business, but I just want to add that she happens to be an amazing hair stylist and make up artist as well!! She gave me the exact natural, glowy, and romantic look that I wanted for the big day.

Anyways, took 2 weeks to get a preview and about 6 months to finally get the pictures. Well now it's been over a year and I have still not gotten the book I paid for. I'm sure it would be horrible anyways...the pictures were terrible. Lighting was off, some of them are blurry, some are not centered. All around worst choice I made for my wedding.

Luckily my coordinator was AMAZING and made a plan B or else I wouldn't have a single photo of my wedding. But I had to pay for 2 photographers because I never got a refund either. She basically told me I would have to take her to court and then never took my calls after that day. She's a scammer for sure!! I had finally found someone within my $1000 pic budget that offered two ppl. So, I paid my deposit to book her. On the day of the wedding, she stood there very mildly taking a snap here & there as I was dressing. I decided to ask after 40 minutes if the other photographer was in the other building taking pics of the stage & visitors. She stated that she's the only one taking pics & that the other lady could not make it. I immediately was about to have a river of tears & runny make-up. I proceeded to ask why she didn't tell me the day before. She shrugged. I asked to be reimbursed some of the money due to her not holding up her word in our initial talk (why I booked her in first place). Her response was that there was absolutely nothing she could do.... She doesn't give refunds & that the price is the price regardless (shrugged again). I became really upset from her nonchalant & insensitive nature...She finally said that her mom wasn't able to come, she ended up with another session a couple of days ago for this weekend, & that she begged her to come but her mom wouldn't. We finally agreed that she'd give back 20% (documented in writing and witnessed by two others w/signatures). It has been almost 8 months since she came in to take our wedding pictures with a little mini camera. I have not received an album as promised in the contract nor a refund of any money. I've emailed every other month & even sent a Google Wallet request of the funds she agreed to give back. Nothing!!! $800 paid to her for pictures I can only see online. DO NOT USE THIS SCAMOGRAPHER- photographer! I've tried multiple times to see how the album was coming along. I wanted to send out a picture of us to our family for Christmas. I've even had a baby....still no pictures or a response from Ms. Bambi Hoggle. I will proceed with legal action.
