When I went in the store, I was immediately greeted and asked what I was looking for and shown to where the Converse shoes were located. My husband wanted all black Chuck Taylors and I easily found some that matched that description in his size. I'm a little more picky so I didn't buy my Chucks today, but I'll probably go back and pick some up once I decide what color or style that I want. The store isn't large, but they have several brands like Puma, Adidas, New Balance and others. They had many shoes that were on sale so you can probably find a good deal in here.

Many different styles and shapes and in the end, they're flip flops. You can't wear them to work but you can wear them to the beach and to Walmart. I did pop in and look around. I'm not someone who enjoys going to jewelry stores (the people always seem shady and smell blood in the water when they see an inexperienced customer like myself). Here was different. I walked in and was greeted kindly, and asked for my brief patience because all associates were helping other customers. Then, when I was assisted, it took less than 5 minutes. The person helping me was personable, friendly, and enthusiastic to help. The customer service here was top-notch, the environment was clean, homey and inviting, and the displays were organized and visually appealing. Now, let's cut to the chase--I got to meet GUNNER. It always makes my day to meet well-behaved pets in unexpected places. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would because of him being the goodest boy.

And since brand names/electronics/anything too expensive are not on their radar, we wanted to just get them a bunch of stuff we knew they would like at a reasonable price. Overall, I was very impressed by my first 5 Below experience. Everything was really clean, very well organized and a good step up in quality for the dollar stores (obviously for good reason). The staff was really friendly and I ended up walking out with 12 items for less than 60 buck including tax. Can't beat that. As for the products, again, it was for five year olds. They absolutely loved some stuff but weren't super impressed with others. That is to be expected. I look forward to many more trips here in the future. It served its purpose and served it well.
