I just so happened to be visiting Matthews after a recent move and when I pulled up was having troubles with the payment machine due to my error...and a sweet guy name Phil came to assist me.... but the funny thing about it was I had been going there on their monthly special for sometime now over a year and just the fact that he knew me and was asking where had I been? I mean it was just so nice to know that the old Customer Service still stands strong where businesses knew all of their patrons by face or name...THANK YOU so much Phil for being so cordial and kind and making my day! After my car came out of the wash bay and Ashley and Connor wiped it over with clean towels my car looked showroom condition again. I feel dedicated customers it is up to us to always show appreciation where it is due in the form of a nice tip or go the extra mile to contact upper management and let them know how pleased we are with the services and what a fine job they are doing at this location. In particular performing above top levels of customer service. The car was not thoroughly vacuumed, the windows remained dirty, and the door jambs were not cleaned. I had to clean the door jambs and vacuum the interior myself after returning home due to the poor quality of work. For $36, the service felt like a basic drive-through wash. I expected a higher level of attention to detail for the price. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this car wash.

I decided to stay and use the vacuum facilities, which I was pretty happy about. Vacuum cleaners were really strong and effective. They also have a mat cleaning machine that you can use free of charge. They also offer glass cleaner and towels free of charge. My only complaint is that the actual car wash itself didn't do a great job of actually getting the dirt and bugs off of my bronco. I wasn't expecting perfection on the front grill as some of that stuff is pretty smashed in, but I still had rain streaks and dirt around the frame of the front windshield and along the sides of the bumpers, both front and back. I probably should've taken it back through a second time, but I just didn't bother to get back in line. Also, this place got pretty busy between 10 and 12 so I would suggest coming during non-peak hours or risk not being able to pull into one of the vacuum cleaner stalls
