School sports pictures are never delivered timely. Our coaches and school administrators have to contact them multiple times to inquire about the status of photos and to urge them to get our pictures delivered to the school. Of course, the company cashes the checks for the pictures immediately. More than once, they've said pictures have to be "reprinted", but then the "reprinted pictures" are not delivered when promised. This seems like a delaying tactic, in the hope that we will forget and they can just take our money and run. And the quality of the photos is poor. The lighting for several of my daughter's photos has been terrible. The editing is amature; I could edit several photos we've purchased from them better on my iPhone. Between the horrendous customer service and the subpar photography, it's astonishing that this company remains in business. Unfortunately we are stuck with them because they have a contract with our school district. If this company approaches your school district or sports organization to contract photography services, run away! Whatever they are charging, it is NOT worth the hassle you will end up with. read more

I never leave reviews but my daughter's middle school uses this company and it's pre-order only. I understand with technology this is a way to gatekeep so they make a profit but this year was the first year I ordered and I kept it to an email image and I'm glad I did. The picture was blurry, too bright, too orange and cartoony just not professional enough for my liking. Wish I could give them negative stars. They had my 7 year old take off her eyeglasses for a photo. I don't know what reason they could have to ask a child to take off their glasses that they need to see. I've called like 20 times on different days and left messages but no call back. I placed an order for my student's senior photos in late December so I could give pictures as Christmas presents to my family members. Magic Moment rushed my order and they arrived in time for me to give out to my family. This company helped me a great deal! During Covid my younger daughter had her Senior Night band pictures taken at the football game, but the director did not get us the info to be able to order the pictures. I really thought we were going to have to do without them, but just a few months ago I happened to call them just on the off chance they would still have the pictures in archive. After going back and forth missing each other playing phone tag, they found the pictures and I was finally able to order them which made my daughter and I both ecstatic! Impossible to communicate with. I've had photos done for sports, school, etc and they were mediocre at best. Only used because it was my only option through those venues. I've even received photos that were not mine. Photos are expensive and if I'm going to pay what they ask, I'd prefer to use someone properly trained that responds when called. read more

Our local high school decided to start using Magic Moment Photography for all of their pictures and to say that they have been a disappointment is an understatement. Their "photographers" looked like they were all high school students themselves and they acted like it to. They had to professionalism at all! My son graduated high school 2023 and I paid for them to take pictures as he was receiving his diploma but when I received these pictures, they were blurry and horrible. I could have (and did) take better pictures with my Iphone! I have tried for MONTHS to get in touch with someone at Magic Moments but no one will return phone calls or emails. I REFUSE to pay this company any more money for crap pictures! Its cheaper and better quality to pay a professional photographer to take my daughters senior pictures this year! I can't believe they let my son's pictures even leave their office. There's clearly no quality control. They just take your money and send whatever they can print the cheapest. It looks like they didn't even have ink in the printer. But the worst issue of all is that, for years, I have been able to take screenshots of what people post on social media and have a clearer photo. I have been waiting for our daddy daughter dance photos from Magic Moment Photography since the school's shut down. I have sent numerous emails and called many times. They are refusing to answer the phones after I spoke to them. They assured me that they found all three orders, for my two girls and the group photos in April and I emailed my address. I have left messages offering to pick them up since the owner appears to be unable to find the post office. They charged us $80 in February and we have never received any photos. This was Sarah's last dance and Annabelles first. Two very special moments for both. I would highly recommend given the very unprofessional behavior that Gwinnett County Public Schools find another photographer for our students. read more

I'm not ecstatic about the quality of photos being done by this company. Between school and sports, nothing has come out the way it should be from a "professional" group. My wife had issues with the digital editing of her and my daughter's pictures, and my son's recent baseball pictures are blurry/fuzzy. Not to mention, we were charged $5 for shipping when postage on the envelope shows $1.74. Only positive is we received his pictures in a more timely fashion (roughly 2-3 weeks) where it took nearly 2 months with my daughter's pictures. Well looking on others reviews I realized I'm not alone. Paid them for a handshake package when my son graduated from HS. After several emails and also much more phone calls 3 months later I spoke with a lady; she apologized and said my pictures will be on the mail that day (she confirmed my address) but also I would have a digital copy by email. This company is ripping off parents. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much money for senior pictures. I will definitely be reaching out to our school district to get them removed from our schools. They do not even offer all the pictures digitally. You can get up to 20 picture options for over $600. I truly wish Gwinnett County Public Schools would cancel the contract with this company. They do not return phone calls or emails. My daughter had her Cheerleading pictures taken in August 2018. We did not receive the pictures until May of 2019. Here we are again...Cheerleading pictures taken in August-check cleared on August 20, 2019. It is now December 4, 2019 and No pictures. No response to email. No response to voice mail. They have no imagination when setting up team pictures or individual pictures of the sports or clubs. We ordered school Volleyball pictures from Magic Moment Photography on September 14, 2019 and as of today myself and other parents still have not received their order. I was told on Friday, October 18, 2019 that my child's pictures would be delivered to her school on Monday, October 21, 2019 and we still have yet to receive our picture order. I've sent two follow-up emails and no response, their voicemail box is full so you can't leave messages. At this point I just want my refund. I would never recommend this Company to anyone. When can I get my pictures, I ordered in August for my daughter Volleyball team. I ordered the Poser A package for $75.00. I received the team picture and 3 button pendants & A large Photo. Where is the rest of the package? I have called, left messages, the coaches have followed up. I have emailed. Everytime I call you don't answer. When I finally spoke to someone in Oct, I was told they will be sent out. Guess what no pictures. I called again in December same thing you will mail them I provided my address, Guess No pictures I have Informed Mail service so the post office mails me a picture of all mail thats due to be received. So I did not see any picture package. I called in Jan left a message you called back and said I heard the message and I said let me call this poor lady back I know you have been waiting I expressed I will come pick the pictures up that way I know I receive them. YOu were at a photo shoot and told me you will call me back so we can coordinate. Guess what I have not heard back from you. This is such a horrible experience the first year my daughter plays Volleyball in highschool and we were excited to order pictures. You cashed my check and have not sent what I ordered. Could you please send me our pictures. My daughter attends Millcreek Highschool 9th grade volleyball team and the season has been over since November. Unfortunately Magic Moments has a monopoly on many of the Gwinnett County schools. My experience over the years has been terrible. Their product is bad and customer service is terrible. I got cheer pics of my daughter that were retouched to make her look like a linebacker with a thick neck. Senior pictures I have seen look like waxed figures where the skin on the neck does not match the face. Poor experience with retouching. I would not recommend. I HATE giving them my money. If you try to call they don't answer or the voice mail is full. If you email. they do not respond. Not a way to run a professional business. Placed two orders well over a month ago, and my order is still incomplete. First of all, when the order finally arrived, it was missing one picture. Two weeks later, received a picture. However, it is the wrong football team picture. Contacted them again, this time about the wrong picture. Supposedly, they have now sent me the correct picture. To date, I have not received the correct picture. Still waiting for that picture and football season will be over by the time I receive the correct picture.
