The price was very reasonable and he offered a lot more services than other photographers. I love that we could choose the services "a la cart" rather than being forced into a package deal that did not fit our needs. My first phone call with Dave reassured me that he was the one for the job. He was very friendly and laid-back. He was also incredibly helpful from what vendors he recommended to how to choose the ceremony time so the lighting would be just right in the Clock Tower on 16th street. We met Dave in April to do an engagement photo shoot and it gave us a really good opportunity to get to know him prior to our big day. We really enjoyed ourselves and were completely relaxed, which was reflected in the gorgeous and creative photos he took. Dave had already shot at the Clock Tower on other occasions, and this experience really helped us land some awesome shots of our wedding. He didn't miss any details. Every emotion I felt that day was caught on camera for me to remember for years to come. His style is classic, yet creative and I know that these photos will be timeless. I highly recommend Camara Photography for any of your upcoming events. After looking at their portfolio, their capabilities are much broader than just events, so keep them in mind for whatever photography needs you may have. I promise you will not be disappointed!

When we first interviewed Aaron he told us that he wouldn't just be our photographer, he would help the entire night run smoothly- he did. Aaron and Philan came the hotel prior to our ceremony. Philan took precious photos of me, my mom, and my girls while helping me into my dress! Aaron hung out with my husband beforehand, taking photos, helping him into his tux, and making everything seem easy. Aaron helped us execute a strategic plan for more pictures to be taken prior the ceremony, without us seeing each other:) It was brilliant! Five minutes before I was ready to walk down the aisle I was standing in the bridal room at my church, doing my best to stay calm, when Philan came in and just started snapping pictures- I was immediately at ease. As the night went on, Aaron and Philan were everywhere. Aaron's creative eye never stopped! He would have shot photos all night if we didn't have a reception to get to. Our pictures are amazing. Some people will tell you that photography isn't that big of a deal because you only really get a couple of pictures you want to save and showcase for the rest of your life. We got hundreds, seriously. We have no regrets recommending White Shutter Photography to all brides- they are truly fantastic.

We hired the team of Heather and her husband Drew for our winter wedding a year ago and have been so happy with the results. Besides giving Heather a list of things that were important to us, she took those suggestions and produced photos beyond what we could have imagined were possible. For example, at the end of the evening we all went outside to light wish lanterns to send off into the star lit sky. As everyone was putting on their coats to go outside, Heather suggested I go out without my coat because my dress would be covered. Well, Heather's suggestion led to one of our favorite photos: the two of us taken from behind as we released our lantern into the sky, looking upwards and still holding the lantern, and the back of my dress flowing into the snow in full view...highlighted by the glow of warm candlelight. The moment was captured beautifully and is now framed on our wall. We also asked Heather to take some shots of us during the day in front of the iconic Tetons and those photos are always met with a "wow"! Thank you to Heather and Drew for helping make our memories more beautiful with such amazing photographs to enjoy for years to come.

I loved that EO gave the option to have a true elopement OR a micro-wedding. After emailing back and forth with Meghan, we pretty much had everything decided-- it was that easy! As we got closer to the wedding, I was in contact with Cassie, who could not have been more sweet! She made sure I was kept in the loop the whole time and made sure to address any questions or concerns really quickly. Our officiant, Michael, was great and really listened to what we wanted. He was also super cool about us adding our own vows with only about a month til the wedding. Our photographer, Amy, was also really sweet and very understanding when makeup was a bit late. Although I haven't seen pictures yet, I'm confident that they'll be beautiful. We had a very small ceremony (8 guests) at The Cabin Ridge in Hendersonville. What an amazing venue!! Pictures don't even do this place justice. The guys and gals had separate cabins to get ready in, which was perfect for hair and makeup and avoiding wrinkled suits from the car. The wedding day assistant, Ginny, was a dream to work with and even put up my arch decor while I got ready! If you're looking for something that takes the normal "wedding stress" off the table, Elope Outdoors is it. They took care of the photography, flowers, officiant and venue. Although a bit biased, our family said it was the best wedding they've been to. :)
