Terry has seen a lot of Victoria, particularly a lot of muddy and messy Victoria. He's also a hoarder and carries around a lot of junk. My car is messy. What I'm trying to say is my car is gross and messy. I went to Magic Hand Car Wash off the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. For about 45 clams Terry was scrubbed, polished, vacuumed and freshly scented - all in about 15 minutes. During that time I sipped on a latte in the accompanying coffee shop, where I watched Terry get cleaned up. The boys that work here are very fast and efficient - you'll literally have about five people cleaning your car at once - no spot goes un-scrubbed. Considering the cost other car cleaning places charge, Magic Hand is easily the pick of the bunch.

WARNING!!!! The service that I received from Waterworks was horrible. I have used these guys a few…read moretimes before. The service has never been great but it has been ok in the past, but not this time. I took my small hatchback to them to wash on Sunday at 12:30 while I shopped for my groceries. I asked the attendant how long it would take to wash my car inside and out and he couldn't answer because he had to inspect my car with his phone. After a minute or two he decided that my car had a few grains of sand so I needed a $150 mini detail. I explained that I didn't want that service, but I agred to a $90 thorough car wash inside and out. I again asked how long it would take. The attendant couldn't answer and asked me how long I could give them. I had no more than 2 hours to spare so I asked if he could have my car ready by 2:30. He agreed. I wasted time at the shops then did my groceries and was ready for my car by about 2:20. I had things like milk, chicken and ice cream in my bags, but I knew that I had given the car wash people until 2:30. I hadn't received any text message to say that my car was ready so at 2:35 I went back to check on them. My car was sitting there with all the doors open, water dripping off it and the vacuum cleaner sitting nearby still running, but nobody was around. I found the attendant washing a ute and asked him what was going on. He said that he had done most of the wash but just needed a few minutes to finish wiping down. I asked how long and he explained '10 minutes'. I told him that I would stand there and wait because I had groceries to take home. I watched this guy for 35 minutes more while he changed chamois and wiped the same area over and over but didn't actually clean any of my car. After about 30 minutes another attendant came to help him to move my car on, but he only helped to add something to clean the tyres not clean the car. My windscreen is smeared and worse than when I took it in. They didn't clean the inside of my car properly. There are chips in the paint on my bonet and scratches that were not there before. My car is only 5 years old and these things stand out! This attendant lied to me repeatedly - when he said that I needed a mini detail because of 'sand', when he said that he would have my car ready in 2 hours and again when he said that he would be finished in 10 minutes. If he was honest and said that they couldn't wash my car properly in 2 hours then I would have come back another time. Considering their scam to get me to pay an extra $60 to vacuum my car and how bad my car is after more than 2 and a half hours of their 'professional work' I won't go back again and I suggest that everyone avoids Waterworks
