I was a little concerned that their equipment only vibrated the surface with a small amount of fluid. Then the ran a cotton cloth over the right remove the moisture. Colors were uneven but thought I'd wait until it dried. Just tried a hand held Bissell carpet-furniture cleaner on it and the water is dark brown! They did little more than the vibrating brush of a vacuum cleaner. Absolute waste of money!!

What was really shocking was that they didn't put paper booties on over their shoes. Or in the case of one technician, enormous combat boots. They repeatedly walked in and out of the cleaned rooms in their street shoes/boots. They didn't put anything under the legs on furniture that wasn't being moved. Nor did they put any type of covering on the hardwood floor between the front door and rooms being cleaned. The distance of about 20 feet. As far as carpet, the cleaning was satisfactory. We have animal stains that they diligently tried to remove but were unsuccessful. These were old stains so I can't fault them. There are too many carpet cleaning companies in Lexington, I can't recommend this company to anyone.

Once again it's my opinion but slamming the the wand into the baseboards lent to the impression that speed creates a cavalier attitude as to customer's belongings. STANLEY STEEMER in Lexington KY came to clean our air ducts on Monday 6/30. We paid them around…read more$500. When they came our heat pump was working perfectly and since they left we have no air circulating to the main floor of our home. The technicians have been back twice trying to repair it but no improvement. We also had 2 separate licensed HVAC repairmen come and both told us that the fins on our air handler system had been damaged preventing air flow. We have been passed around for 10 days now trying to get this taken care of and this morning we were told that they are not responsible and that they did not do the damage thus it's our problem. Since they are the only ones who have been INSIDE our heat pump it's irresponsible for them to not admit the mistake and make it right. We were instructed to contact the corporate office which we did and she forwarded the matter to the insurance company for a potential resolution but this damage is going to cost approximately $8900 -11,000 per the estimates. They have now been so kind to offer us $1,000 to settle it. Now we will be filing a law suit against them just to get back where we were when they came. Beware if you let Stanley STEEMER done to your home. They DO NOT stand being their work and the damage they cause! Don't do it.
