They cut my hair how I wanted it and made great suggestions to fit my face better. Blanca (I think!) was so funny and talkative. It felt like I was hanging out with my auntie. I appreciated her so much I had to give her a goodbye hug-and this was the first time I was meeting her. I would definitely come back. The hair cut was good, quick, and cheap. I forgot what I paid, it was around $35 + or - $5. They did a dry cut, if you want a full hair shampoo and styling at the end it's an extra $10/$15. Free street parking. Lots of open spots.

Previously, we'd gone to a salon in the nearby City of Downey that took ~9 hrs for the same job that Stylists Alma did. The only differences: 1. Alma did a quality job 2. She did it all within a couple of hrs (3 max) It's already been a week since our visit, and my mom's dye is still as strong as it was when she got it done. Alma was nice in suggesting some decent size highlights to match my mom, as the previous hair salon had done a rather wacky job giving her some overwhelmingly thick highlights that looked rather tacky. Clearly, Alma has an eye for aesthetic and a kind-heart, as she explains what products and treatment she'll be using on your hair depending on it's "health" state/nature. Alma walks you through the process before anything, like all good hair stylists must. And another good thing, she doesn't force you to buy any other products, aside from the work you've come in for. Comfortable space and fast, friendly service. We'll be coming again.
