Specialties
Rather than focusing on step-by-step projects, Cheryl teaches a structured approach to painting that can be applied to any subject or medium. Students learn how to build a painting from the ground up—starting with strong drawing, clear value organization, and intentional color use.
Classes are designed to move artists beyond copying and toward true understanding, helping them develop confidence, independence, and their own artistic voice.
All levels work within the same system, allowing beginners to build a solid foundation while more experienced artists continue to refine and grow. Instruction is tailored to the individual, while still maintaining a clear, consistent process that supports long-term development.
