Per my insurance company I needed to find a new pain doctor, since I haven't seen one during all that time. The original MD has passed away. The second one has retired. The third one has quit the practice to do research or something, he's no longer in practice. Needless to say, all of my records are lost to time. So, Dr Sondhi was in the last practice I had gone to so chose her. She said she would treat me as a new patient since she had absolutely no medical history for me. During my second visit she suggested I should try epidural injections. I have had them 20 or so years ago, and they weren't very helpful. She said they had new methods to deliver the medication more precisely. I thought, OK I'll try them. Well, they hurt like HE**!! But, only for 1-2 minutes. It was WONDERFUL! Practically pain free for weeks. They did start to wear off over time (as expected), but It's been close to 5 months now, I think I'm ready to get them again. Thank you so much Dr Sondhi!!.

After several consultations with my doctor we settled on pain management course of action. Having complete faith in my doctor I asked him to select the pain care center that he had the most faith in and one he worked closely with. He of course selected Liberty Pain Care and Dr. Shruti Shah MD. All my appointments were dealt quickly upon my arrival and with a very high degree of professionalism. My personal comfort was very important to them every step of the way, whether at the office or surgical center. I was very well briefed whatever the treatment was that particular day with a follow up call to my home that same day and the next day also. The office staff also assisted me with some scheduling difficulties at the hospital, which made things alot less stressful. He did not try to be costly. His prices were in my range. His office is very clean and his employees are very friendly, helpful and ready to assist you immediately. I had to procedure done on one knee which, truthfully, my knee was so bad that every doctor told me I needed artificial knee Replacement. My knee took about 4 to 6 weeks to really heal and make me see a great difference in it so after careful consideration, and a long discussion with Dr. Varma and my family, I will be going next week to do my other knee. I have sent two or three different friends that I recommended to Dr. Varma and, they are so impressed and very happy to know that there is a Doctor Who is capable of being honest and know what they're doing. I told her that might be a challenge depending on the doctor's availability, but to please call me back at her earliest convenience with some answers. I never heard from her again. I called again and left a message reminding her that I was waiting to hear back from her. No call back. I called one last time telling her that the situation was very serious and I needed to know if Dr. Choy could possibly help my brother, otherwise we'd have to make other arrangements. I literally begged Erica to give me the courtesy of a return call. I never heard from them. You can reach your own conclusions as to whether you want to trust treatment to people capable of acting like this.
