Dr Brockstein has been such a blessing to my family. My newborn son was experiencing acid reflux, which impacted his sleep. My wife and I did some research on Chiropractor's and how they can help with the problem. We visited him and felt safe going through with the process. He educated and reassured us that this was safe. After a few sessions, his sleep routine improved. I highly recommend it if you decide to go down this route. Dr. Brockstein also treated my golfers elbow, or tendinitis on my inner elbow which was from weightlifting. Again, he patiently educated and treated my ailment and after a few sessions, my pain went away and I was back to lifting heavy. Dr. Brokstein is an amazing chiropractor who excels at teaching, educating, and treating patients. I came to him with shortness of breath that was turned away/labeled from many doctors as anxiety, asthma, allergies - but I know my body and I know it wasn't any of those and I didn't want to take unnecessary medication that could have side effects. Been to multiple chiropractors before. Some have actually done more damage. Dr. Brokstein assured me I would be able to avoid surgery. Over the course of a couple of months, I'm up and moving around just fine. Even though I'm better, I still return for maintenance. One difference is, he doesn't make you believe you need to return 3 times a week so he can bill the insurance. He will actually give you what you need and nothing more which goes a long way. I would not recommend this office to my dog. After calling the office to let them know I would be late for my appointment, then agreeing it would be ok if I'm not seen right away. I had to wait for an entire hour to be seen. On top of that, they charge you a late fee of 70 dollars if you miss your appointment. It's not worth the time honestly, go somewhere else where they would accommodate you. I don't need a lecture after a long day at work, about me being late. Dr. Brokstein has been a very large help to my pain and aches in my neck due to running and everyday stress. He is always accommodating to try to squeeze me day of, (if he can help it) due to my work schedule. I never really believed in Chiropractors before I met Dr. Russell Brockstein. My back went out just bending over. I could not straighten out. The pain was so bad I could not walk. Someone suggested I go to Dr. Brockstein. I made the appointment, and hobbled into his office. Wow, was I amazed I walked out of his office with hardly any pain at all. Dr. Brokstein's been amazing! We have been with him for over 5 years. He has helped my wife with her lower back pain/issues. More impressively he has helped my oldest daughter with her chronic ear infections when she was little. Starting at the age of 3, she would consistently have an ear infection month after month. We had mentioned it to him one day and he explained to us the concept of the tubes in her ear and how they are still developing, and that all we needed to do was just have him do a few adjustments to allow the ear to drain properly. We opt for the adjustments instead of having the ENT put in tubes in her ear and are we glad we did. No more ear infections! (She is 9 years old now!) He is currently assisting my youngest daughter who is 2 with issues with ear infections. From Jan-April of 2019, she has been having ear infections back to back. We take her to Dr. Brokstein for adjustments and two months in and no issues with her ears. Glad we have him in our lives! I started seeing Dr. Brockstein after having severe pain in both feet and low back pain that would shoot down my left leg. I had seen a podiatrist ( foot/knee doctor) for over two year having had x-rays and custom orthodics with little to no relief. I had also been to a orthopedist who sent me to physical therapy for several weeks again with little relief. The orthopedist recommended steroid injections, however, being an RN and knowing the possible complications of them decided to try chiropractic first. I researched chiropractors in NJ and settled on Dr. Brokstein for his experience and many positive reviews from other patients. I came into his office hoping for relief, but keeping a healthy skepticism. The moment I walked in I was greeted, had to wait less than five minutes before being seen by the doctor, and had a very thorough 45 minute assessment. Since then I have been getting a full adjustments along with stretching with each visit. I also received different custom orthodics that did actually help my feet. I have now full range of motion in my neck and back, much fewer headaches, NO MORE lower back pain shooting down my left leg, and a lot less pain in both feet. After the first treatment I felt a huge relief of my pain! I was sold! Dr. Brokstein has also helped with with my acid reflux and my sinus pain/pressure. I still come and see him for maintenance care and do stretches at home which have kept me pain free! I never have to wait more than five minutes before I see the doctor and he spends time with me stretching and giving me a full adjustment! I have been seeing Dr. Brokstein for several months now, after jumping around from one chiropractor to another for quite some time looking for one that is as reliable, knowledgable, and caring as he is.
