I've driven by this place a ton of times but never stopped in. This will definitely be my new go-to flower shop! I was able to pick up a beautiful orchid and some succulents. The succulents will make a great addition to my garden and I just love orchids since they tend to last a lot longer than your average cut flower arrangement. Speaking of arrangements, they had a great selection and it seems they can customize to your liking. The staff was super friendly and taught me so much about caring for my new plants. Can't wait to stop in again soon. Oh, and besides flowers, they had a great selection of gifts. If I didn't vow to stop buying cook books there were 3 or 4 I was planning on scooping up.

I gave some other details and she was super helpful, offering lots of suggestions. She even stayed on the phone with me while I looked on their website to see the different items she was talking about. After I decided on what I wanted, I gave her our hotel info, paid over the phone, and that was that. A couple weeks later, we arrived to our hotel room with a beautiful card, balloon and flower arrangement. It was the perfect start to our special anniversary weekend. Thanks, Flor De Monterey!

Her pricing and à la carte menu were completely transparent and easy to understand. She came in with real knowledge of our venue and even knew which flowers would likely be in bloom around the time of our wedding, which made the whole conversation feel so much more thoughtful and grounded. I came to her with very few preferences and no strict theme or color scheme in mind, which could easily be a florist's nightmare. But Tammy took that open canvas and ran with it beautifully. She sent photo examples of different arrangements so I could actually visualize options, and she responded to every question and concern I had throughout the process. When last-minute seating changes and table layout shifts came up (as they always do!), she adapted without missing a beat. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking. Even better than anything I had imagined. Tammy is just a genuinely lovely person. Vendor coordination can feel exhausting, but I truly looked forward to every exchange we had with her -- she was thoughtful, supportive, and made the whole experience feel warm and personal rather than transactional.
