I have always on the lookout for decor / interior shops, not the usual "danish design" with the items that all people in Denmark have (Kähler vases, Royal Copenhagen plates, anyone?)
Maybe I am a mainstream by becoming anti-mainstream, but whatever, this shop does have cute stuff that is NOT your usual danish design and with a friendly price tag as well. They have some retro goods (like those red toolboxes that my dad used to have!), some fish scale vases that would look good in my living room if I didn't have a bird who liked to pluck flower (hence why I don't have a vase), and some quirky stuff that are interesting and eye-catching.
Unfortunately the shop is way too small to house anything bigger than small decor items and they have the kind of things that you want but you don't really need and unfortunately I'm VERY GOOD at self-control when it comes to shopping so although I really really wanted to get something cute from this shop (I still think about that fish-scale vase), I realise that I don't really need it.
But maybe, maybe I will just drop by again to see if they have something that I *NEED*. After all the location is perfect when you're on a stroll from Nørreport to Nørrebro to your favourite bar or something... read more
