We had rented Tøjhusmuseumet for the location for our yearly company party, and Peter from Genskabt supplied us with food, brewages, tables, chairs, dance floor, and entertainment. The food was new Nordic. It tasted good, and Peter had made a wide selection dishes. Up front the vegetarians and vegans had been asked to inform about their eating habits. The waiters sought them out, and they were informed about their special dishes. Abesolute great service at a party with more than 200 guests. The staff was service minded and very efficient. They provided the guest with wine, beer, soft drinks, and water. Eventhough they obviously were busy, they took time to smalltalk and entertain us. I'll definitely contact Peter the next time, I have to arrange a big party.

I took it home and enjoyed it so much, that I went back the next day and tried another one. Highly highly recommendable, as it clearly is one of the best salads places in Copenhagen! Most people grab the salad as a take away and it isn't really a place to sit and eat but there's a few tables and we decided to stay. The aim is integration and inclusion. Preparing food and eating together is a good way to meet each other and learn about the different cultures. It can be very difficult to be a immigrant in Denmark. Especially if you do not have much or any contact to the surrounding society. Indvandrer Kvindecenteret have done a big and important work, with bike, computer, sowing courses, different workshops, and so on. At Send Flere Krydderier you can get the dish of the day, small or big meze and the two salads of the day. The food is well prepared and very tasty. They always explaine the dishes. Eat in- or outside depending on the weather. It a is also possible to take away, and they do catering.

I went here last Tuesday for their "tirsdag madklub" - Tuesday food club - and I was blown away…read more The concept is that every Tuesday people can come in at 6pm, and eat a delicious dinner together with others at a long table - for only 50kr! The menu changes each week with food from e.g. Pakistan, Lebanon, Somalia. The last Tuesday of the month is vegetarian. We got there a bit earlier around 5:30, we then sat down near a couple and another woman. The place got filled up probably around 30 people over two long tables. There were also children, the place was very family friendly. At 6pm, a description of the dinner was provided and then we were broken up in groups of 8-10, where one person would go up and pick up the various items. There was so much fantastic food: meatballs, a mango raita (delicious), kale salad, and oven roasted potatoes and other seasonal vegetables. The food was fantastic, but what made it was the wonderful chefs and the atmosphere of eating with others - it really made the night. I hope more people get the opportunity to try the Tuesday club!
